My mom had a '78 Bronco with a 460 under the hood. It got roughly 3-5 mpg.
@cosimosanfilippo90504 ай бұрын
I love every inch of it, except the play in the steering. My 1986 Bronco is nailed on the road and the steering is not hard, or soft. I increased Castor and diminished all possible play , from the steering to the wheels. power steering was introduced much later on this trucks , but the geometry of the truck steering, was left the same, for easy to steer, but they are shopping trolleys unless castor is increased etc.,

Beautiful truck I know the owner just told him I needed a ride.

Beautifully done! Looks fantastic. I'd love to order one from you someday. Any day on cost to have one swapped in, assuming all new parts/crate motor?

I’m not seeing any questions answered. HOW MUCH WAS THE BUILD???? hahaha. Looks good, I’ve got a 79 in good shape and I’m ready to take it to the next level but it would be nice to see how much something like this cost.

Why don't anybody talk about the most important thing, the COST??? 🤑

You mentioned building another identical one for yourself. Tip* get oem raptor KO2 AT 37’s.

It was hard to hear where you sourced the AC compressor from, mind sharing that gain?

How much does a setup like this cost? I was thinking about doing that to my 78 f-250

You mentioned gas mileage; have you heard from your customers what they are averaging now? Love you videos and appreciate you sharing.

Great looking Bronco. Love the Godzilla swap. What transfer case did you use? Did you re-gear any of the differentials?
@deeremeyer1749 Жыл бұрын
Any of the differentials? There are two and if you regear any you have to regear every. Unless you're happy with a "2WD conversion" and don't install the front driveshaft or never put in 4wd.
@jeffpaige61985 ай бұрын
are you doing any sort of traction bar to help axle wrap with all that torque?
@DanielRundellpnw833 Жыл бұрын
nice bronco just curious how much did this build cost
@deeremeyer1749 Жыл бұрын
So is there a "gear position" displayed anywhere?
@user-sj5xv8hr3r4 ай бұрын
What's the point I would have swapped in a 7.5 460 kept it retro and I would bet it would out perform it in the long run and it's easier to work on.

You guys do fantastic work! That is so clean looks like factory. Was wondering I’m planning on try to do this same install in a 1979 f150 step side short box. Do you sell a motor mount kit? Unfortunately I don’t have the skill to make them. Thank you

FANTASTIC! What wheels and tire combo did you use on this truck?
@bradzimmerman317111 ай бұрын
Beautiful job,but what is with the lame "hubcraps " they don't hold the wheels on so they are useless- a bumper sticker is more useful (engine covers are the same garbage)

Did you guys make any gearing changes? I think they were 3.00 - 1. Wonder if 4.10 or 4.56 would be nice with the 6 speed?
@deeremeyer1749 Жыл бұрын
No cooling system expansion tank aka "overflow tank"? What's up with the valve cover "breather" on an EGR-equipped emission-controlled engine? That'll never "smog" regardless of the "sniffer test". And what about factory "tuning"?

Have you considered using the 10 speed trans? I saw a gen 1 using this engine with the 10 speed and owner loves it. Seems you may get better mileage and the 10 speed works well in the trucks
@dougdelong6161 Жыл бұрын
There's no adapter to mate the 10R140 to the NP205 tcase
@johnt66739 ай бұрын
Just use a current transfer case with the 10 speed trans, case closed.

An "antiroll bar" mounted ahead of, under, behind and above the front axle all at the same time when you look at the whole "package" on a coil-sprung "four link" suspension "on" a "live axle".
@cosimosanfilippo90502 ай бұрын
Fix the steering.........tipical American cars....... I managed to fix mine!!. they fit a power steering , but they left the same geometry of a shop trolley as in in the past without power steering then in other to be able to steer, now you got double the problem...!!

"Ford Racing"? Try "Ford Performance". Which is where all Ford "crate motors"..."come from". Especially "service replacement" engines like that one which is not a "warranty replacement" engine because those are long-blocks. All Ford F-250s and F-350s? Yeah. Right. All of them that are "light-duty". And "new"? Yeah. About 3 years "new" at least. And not a single factory "upgrade" in/on/to it yet. In fact, it's being "replaced" as the light-duty "Super Duty" Ford "gas" engine with a "little brother" - "small block?" - engine in the same "family" but "destroked" to "live" longer at "high rpm" where those gutless "big-blocks" with their combustion chambers and ports that can't begin to "compete" with the "small-block" heavy-duty "gas engines" of the "competition" in real "power" and "performance" at "highway speeds" have to run to make "big power" and "pull" those ridiculous "10-speed" autos even with ridiculously low 4.30 gears.
