The fact that Stockfish 16 managed to draw this is pretty incredible, although a draw is unfortunately the weakest outcome. I guess it has to do with bots being so high level it's hard for them to lose.

@@user-mq4sf2gg5h This is wrong, Stockfish 16 has only gained around 50 points of elo and from my own testing I 100% agree with this. Also Stockfish is 4000+ elo in Fischer random chess not normal chess. In reality Stockfish is probably in the 3700-3800 range.

You should try doing games between different engines at slightly different levels so that you can get more interesting games, chess games with older engines seem to be more interesting, because the engine didn't already calculate the entire game by move 1 and doesn't play in the safest way possible. Still great video, also I think you should try stock fish 16 against older versions of it self so that a significant difference can be seen in performance in comparison to stockfish 15. Dont get me wrong I like the videos but with more advanced engines it is easier to forsee the draw by looking at the engines rating and understanding the game is not usually a valid option.

Because bishop pair were to stronge in this game. White bishop is basically pins king to a pawn and also rook cannot move bcs of that. In this case bishop can have even same value as white defending rook. Bishop pair is in this case the pillar of white attack.

The rook was doing nothing. You can argue that the rook was supporting the f3 pawn but it was already defended by light square bishop as result there was no scope for rook on f file. Or even could argue that the rook could be useful after repositioning but it will take time. Both the bishops are powerful at that moment. If White wanted to save his rook, he could have just traded the dark square bishop for that knight. It didn't happen and stockfish 16 let stockfish 15.1 to take his rook. But stockfish 15.1 refused to take a piece which is doing nothing instead trade that powerful bishop... Remember they are not humans, who will save the rook by trading bishop for a knight. They are chess engine, AI. They can see 80-90 moves ahead and play according to that in present... Stockfish is an another name of menace in chess.

N×Rf1 would be a blunder, and evaluation goes from 0.0 to +2 for White, because Qc8! threatens Rh8#. If Rg8 then R×Rg8+ Q×Rg8 Q×Rd7+ Qg7 Q×Qg7+ K×Qg7 Bc1, and the Bishop pair will beat the Knight pair. I looked at this position in the engine and and i saw after knight takes free rook, the advantage rising for white as somehow they got Qc8 which is a mate threat so they have to give a knight to prevent checkmate. I didn't actually understand why couldn't he do it earlier, but that's the engine

The pinned f6 pawn is terrible weakness. If knight takes rook then Qc2 threatens mate and there's no good response except to give up material.

yeah, stockfish 16 has a stronger attack but can't do anything to stockfish 15.1, besides, stockfish 15.1 I think has better skills than stockfish 16 as evidenced by having a brilliant move, I know stockfish can do that too but considering In my opinion, I lean towards stockfish 15.1 a little, I think stockfish 15.1 will not beat stockfish 16 but it will be very difficult to beat 15.1.

Okay there are misstake moves everywhere? Why not let respective engine get 1 hour thinking time in total? Doing that, the analysis will have stockfish 16 on 100 % accuracy and stockfish 15.1 about 97 % accuracy. Why 97 only? Because stockfish 15.1 has lower elo than than stockfish 16.
