Stok is by far the best cold brew I've yet to find. Everyone who tries this instantly loves it. The unsweet version is perfect. Most people don't feel the need to add any sweeteners. This is so much better on my stomach than hot, brewed coffee. By my calculations, the Huck Sweet and Vision Blend costs about 1.25 to 1.50 USD per ounce on their website, depending on the quantity purchased. This excludes tax and shipping. If you use 275 grams, that's roughly 10 oz. So you're looking at spending 12.50 to 15 USD worth of coffee to make 2200 grams, or 74 oz, of finished cold brew. A 48-ounce bottle of Stok is usually 5.50 to 6.50 USD in my part of the US. Using the quantities of coffee mentioned in this video, 275 grams of coffee yield 37 oz of concentrate or 74 oz of finished product. So that's about 1.5 bottles for 12.50 to 15 USD worth of finished Stok coffee, not including time or the investment in the required equipment. Buying 1.5 bottles in the store would cost roughly 8.25 to 9.75 USD, which is cheaper. I've been looking to find a way to make 48 oz of finished product at less than the store cost, but that seems hard to accomplish without buying a massive amount of bulk coffee. I have yet to find a coffee bean that results in the perfect taste that Stok has achieved. It's not bitter and tastes amazing. If my calculations are wrong, please let me know. 275 grams of coffee beans 1100 grams of water for the concentrate 1100 grams of additional water to finish The grounds are not in the finished product. Roughly 2200 grams of non-concentrated product. 2200 grams to fl oz is roughly 74 oz. A bottle of Stok is 48 oz. 74/48 = 1.54 So this recipe yields 1.54 bottles of Stok. The huck coffee is roughly 21 USD per lb. Each gram of coffee costs roughly 4.6 cents. 275 x .046 = 12.65 So 12.65 USD worth of Huck Coffee yields 73 oz of non-concetrated cold brew, or roughly one and a half 48-oz bottles. This essentially costs you $8.43 to make 48 ounces, or 1 finished bottle, not including time or equipment. This is a phenomenal product, and I've been buying it for years and will continue to do so. If anyone knows how to create this myself at a more affordable rate, or if I made an error in my math, please correct me. I didn't include tax or shipping to simplify things. My favorite flavors of Stok are so hard to find. I like the Chocolate and Mocha flavors, but often only the "unsweet" is available. I would love some hints on what (besides sugar) to add to either the Unsweet or my home-made approximation to match the taste.

What grind size do you use? Coarse or more along the lines of filter grind?

stok cold brews are divine! so smooth and so full of flavor. i drink the unsweet version with a generous amount of milk.
