They both did well but it was garbage field setting and garbage bowling from Australia after lunch. I am getting seriously fed up with all this short ball rubbish - set a normal field and bowl a regular length. Ridiculous - Cummins and Starc are two of the best bowlers in the world and they are just serving up garbage.

I don't know if the bowler is thinking much after being hit for 4 6s! At that stage of the game the strategy to slog the spinner is obvious. Not sure what Cummins was thinking bowling Murphy here, it cost the Aussies 30-odd easy runs which may be the difference in this tight game!

I thought that Josh Tongue was the standout bowler for England in the 2nd test. I think if you asked any batsman whether they would rather face his 90 mph thunderbolts, or Robinson's gentle seamers I think the answer would be pretty unanimous!

Stokes is such an impactful player..whether its ODI, T20I, or Tests..his average may not be among the very best, but he delivers when it matters, or plays those innings with no support at all in a losing cause too..i will say him and Smith are the two best player of last one decade. Smith will go on to become the second best batsman ever, while Stokes will be rated alongside Sober, Kallis..i am talking about his impact..sometimes mere average does not show true worth

Why are Indian fans always negative? India has performed way better Compared to England in last 5-6 years and made both WTC finals. Also, this series is in England and still they’re 2-0 behind, last time anyone won a series in India was 2012

What is the point of winning bilateral series( test, odi & t20s), reaching the final of both WTC cycles and then losing in pathetic fashion. The loss isn't the problem here. It is the way they lost. No semblance of a fight or effort from anyone. And this in an era where there are only 4 top flight cricketing nations. Is it a big achievement to be the no 1 or 2 ranked team in the world with only 4 nations playing. Pathetic thought that leads our team and selectors to be happy with mediocrity. Who cares as long as the money comes in from IPL.
