This was good information for me. I will need to size up. I was concerned about it being tight on my quads. Only Prana’s and OR’s give me the right amount of room on 34’s. Thanks.

I agree - the boot cut seems unnecessary - narrow those legs up! They'll work better with gaitors that way.

Great review. How would you compare these to the Sitka Ascents? Wondering mostly about thickness and noise.

They are a little thicker, but you do have the vents. And they are probably a little noiser.

My biggest complaint is that they are loud! Way louder than many of the sitka pants

We can see that. That fabric does soften over time and that can help a little bit.

I actually disagree with you on the bootcut bottoms. It's one of the things I really like about these pants. One of the things I hate about most hunting pants is that, for me, the tapered legs that most hunting pants have, make me feel like I'm wearing a skinny jean. Most end up super tight on my lower leg, and because I wear the taller Crispi guide boot, most get really tight around that boot top. These DeHavilland have become my very favorite hunting pant. Really wanna pick up the light version as the regular DeHavilland is a little warm for Archery season.
