In the last 4 weeks the video that dominated views ( 88K vs. an average of 12k for all others) was the Willys jeep. I know video editing takes a ton of time since I have restarted it recently. Do all the low viewed videos make up for a whopper like the willys? I hope you aren't offended. I'm asking because it seems to me the editing and filming time might be better spent on those "whopper" topics.

MrLangDog You never know which video is going to blow up, so it's good to just do them all well. Best example I know is Stephen Cox's video 'super glue trick the cops don't want you to know'. He thought it was funny, and it just exploded. He had no idea it would happen. Last I saw it was around 14 million views.👍

+SRF....Good call Josh. "To thine OWN SELF be true". Personally speaking, when I get the feeling that the creator is chasing the Y/T and 'sponsorship' dollar' instead of paralleling my interests, I 'UNsub'. FAST. ie....'Wranglerstar'. BIG channel..... but he left MY interests WAY behind. I don't have 10-20 minutes a day to piss off on a frikkin' "infomercial". At least when YOU do a 'product review', I TRUST you'd say you'd buy it regardless of 'sponsorship'. Or NOT if it's 'junk'. In fact, you have MANY times. Just sayin'.

Hi Josh - interesting to watch these videos on eastern US hay. I grew up on a farm in California where Dad grew (among other things) alfalfa for hay for the area dairy farms. Lot of difference. Out there, you rake and bale early to get a little dew so the leaves don't fall off. If he were still around, he would probably scold you for your work clothes. Even in CA's 100+ summer days, he always wore levis, leather boots and long sleeve shirt. He would approve the hat though :) Keep up the great work!

Want to make your fuel can more like the old style spout, look for a water can conversion kit. I think Walmart even sells a replacement nozzle kit now. Those new nozzles are terrible, they don't work right half the time and break if you look at them wrong. or you can get the racing fuel type cans some places sell.

I saw those yella cans and was thinking you need a diesel transfer tank. Keep your eyes peeled for craigslist or maybe a farm/ landscape/ construction auction. I picked up a 100 gallon tank, nearly FULL of diesel back in 2008 for $100 with a "bad" pump. The pump just needed a little work and some new wires. The tank needed a filter. I treated the whole tank with some biocide and Howes Lubricant at double dose. Since I didn't know the age of the diesel we only used about 5 gallons of this per tractor fill-up and mixed with fresh diesel. I've since purchased a new and faster transfer pump, wired to the pickup battery. It works AWESOME and no stupid fuel cans. Last note- I got this whole setup back when diesel was nearly $5/ gallon - major score. Keep up the great videos!

no they are good.. but the new ones are longer than the worn ones that are on the wheel. so when you put the new ones one they will dig into the ground causing them to bend A-LOT snapping them off so all new or all used is the way to go.

Hey JOSH great job with the rake down here in Alabama we call those wheel takes and just a hint if you want even drier grass hay you might want a tedder or slinger as some people call it very helpful to dry hay out quicker than expected it just helps is all I'm saying I work for a cattle company and we bale anywhere from 200 to 300 bales of hay everytime we cut hay

Hey Stoney ridge, a pto driven two basket hay tedder would work great with your Massey Ferguson tractor in either a 3 point hitch model or tow behind style. My first 4 basket tedder was manual folding since I only used it a few times each season. I gained more production since I didn't have to hook and unhook implements from one tractor for each task. I was able to speed up the hay drying process by tedding once or twice if needed then raking/baling. I'm speaking as the one guy does it all hay operation..

Buy your fuel in bulk. If you are in a rural area, companies will drop off and set up a tank, hose, and nozzle for you to use as long as you buy your diesel in bulk off them. Works for them, and saves you a fair % on fuel.

Question for ya... does the bailer need the hay in big wind rows to work properly? We just bought a farm, and wondering what we need to get for hay harvest. Seems like you make a pass to combine 2 rows into one, and then another pass to bail. Same number of passes if you just ran the bailer without the rake. Perhaps it is needed to dry the hay better? Trying to learn, love the channel. Woooo

Do you have a harbor freight near you? a battery powered liquid transfer pump Item #63847 at harbor freight is less then $10 and will let you refuel the tractor from the cans without having to hold them up to dump down the fill tube. Most hardware stores also carry them as they are good for transferring any liquid from fuels to water just remember to not use the fuel pumps with water or it tastes bad.

I dont have near that much to bale. I only deal with 5 maybe 7 acres at most. Not worth hiring a baler and just worth enough to bale for myself sellng what i dont require. Just all the hay equipment are my area people want New price for. Its insane and discouraging to try and find decent low HP (40pto) square baler, rake and mower.

nigel cuthbertson Wouldnt work well for me. Im not as fit and i dont have an entire leg anymore from cancer treatments. It would kill me in Texas coastal heats. Also plan on selling what i dont use. Easuer to upgrade or configure my current tractor with a grapple and doing idiot squares being so small. Otherwise i would deal with rounds. I know New Holand has a round 4x5 or 4x4 baler rated for the lower PTO and either single or dual hydro tractors. Dont recall my tractor at the moment as i dont use the hydraulics currently. Anyways, a snall square and a stacker/accumulator works for me to load onto a trailer. Onlyntime i have to pick up a bale is to feed my cattle.
