Im going to replace my outdoor kitchen 110v fridge with this cooler on my RV.

I have several sizes and brands of 12 volt compressor freezer/fridge "coolers" and I want to point something out to you and others that may want to power these with a "solar generator" for a cloudy weekend. DON'T use a solar generator if you don't have solar panels connected and expect plenty of sunshine over the weekend. A better alternative is to buy any 13.8 volt 100 ah LiFePO4 battery (Go with the cheapest that get's decent reviews on YT) and also buy a clamp-on 12 volt cigarette lighter socket, that is unless you already have 5 of them laying around the house as I did. The cell packs in solar generators are almost always constructed to be much higher than 12 volts and use electronics AND battery power to reduce that down to the 12 volts at the regulated 12 volt socket in the unit. That is battery power that ; #1) never makes it to your compressor and #2) is being used up even while your "cooler" is sitting at its thermostat setting and isn't even running the compressor. Pick the wrong solar generator and it will shut off if your cooler doesn't cycle frequently enough. That means not power at all if you are away, or asleep and don't realize that it shut off. Using the AC socket on the generator to run the cooler's included power brick would be an even bigger waste of energy. Now days you can even buy "Mini" LiFePO4 batteries that are 1/3 lighter than their traditional counterpart, (based on Watt Hours/Amp Hours) and that makes them much, much lighter than solar generators of similar capacities. One battery, of traditional weight and size, Dr Prepare, has a small module that plugs into it that provides a MPPT solar charge controller to charge it up with solar, a few USB sockets and a 12 volt socket that probably doesn't have any electronics involved since it's connected to a 12 volt drop-in battery to begin with. I got mine free with a coupon, but it isn't an expensive accessory, at ant rate. If you plan to just be out for an afternoon or overnight and you already own one, then a small SolGen is fine. Otherwise, a battery and socket will give longer run time and be cheaper for the purpose. IMHO
