Where exactly do you get 900 pound rent on a £120000 property ? The max I have seen is between 550 to 700

You are 100%, in major cities where rental is high you'll get a shed for 120k and minimum 1k a month rent

That’s because you might not understand housing associations and the rental growth in northern and midlands areas

You haven’t included tax in your figures. So you’re losing 150-180 off your 280 a month depending on if you have bought in personal name ltd company. Add in council tax and minor maintenance and you’re at net 0

Average rents is 500 ,tax 100 , and house insurance is 90 p/m that leaves 310 agents fee 60 250 boiler maintenance 15 p/m 235 general smoke alarms fitted, electric testing,gas testing,general maintenance painting, your left with 50 and when you sell you have to pay capital gains tax at 20 upwards percent,i see all the let's up for sale why would that be also you now need an accountant and be a business on top ,funny thing that

I think you better having the money in an shares isa account dividend is tax free. your making the same amount of money without the tax or costs
