i find this show interesting cuz it kind of shows lucifer after all these years getting tired of his roll and almost sad after that girl died. As if he finally realizes the wrong he did way back but its too late.

this is a good show with a hidden hand in it, its the story of a reluctent bad guy who has people telling him to be "THE BAD GUY" and his struggle between his life and world and the work that people want him to do. and that right there is a recipe for drama right there. PS one of the best devils ever right here right up there with the Tim Curry devil

The Prodigal Son...Lucifer has free will, like we do. All he has to do is accept responsibility for his actions and seek his Father. We never admitted to our disobedience in the Garden...we blamed Lucifer and he, in turn, blamed us. That's how he became Satan, our accuser/adversary and he is our scapegoat. I believe that after His wrath, all of mankind will turn to God and once Lucifer realizes that he can never be God, he will also seek forgiveness. Right now, he is the "god of this world" and that powers him, so he has no reason to seek redemption.

I'm talking about the real Lucifer, not the TV one. Obviously FOX's Lucifer does not have a God-complex, although they mentioned it in one episode.

@ 1:15 Lucifer says, "go ahead. you think father is angry now." why would God be upset that Lucifer is harmed by a demon?

If you read the book of Job , apparently all of the members of both kingdoms of heaven and hell still receive their "permission slips" from God. If Any of the angles of heaven have the power to snuff out Lucifer I would assume since they haven't done it by now (assuming they were/are real) then they don't have the authority or 'OK' from their Top boss.
