Thanks again!🥰 That protein/moisture balance is so important. Where I am we have very hard water so I also have to include a chelating shampoo every few months or so to remove mineral deposits from my hair.

I use a shower head with a water filter to wash my hair as you advised in one of your video”s and also a bond treatment. It made a huge difference in my hair. Probably around 90% less breakage.

Hi, aunt K. Hope you are well You're right about our natural hair being weaker when it's wet. I used to experience breakage when wet my hair to do cornrows (never doing that again)😩. Thanks for the information.

Liquid biotin? I don’t think it will hurt at all but generally it’s best for consumption or even for the scalp.

I love this so much! ❤ Believe it or not, my hair dries out using too much water, so I only use water on shampoo day. For any other needs during the week, I use pure aloe juice and keep my hair in twists. It totally changed the game and my hair stays moisturized, hydrated and is growing like crazy.

YASSSS! Aloe vera juice is still very much so hydrating and its a humectant so keeps your hair retaining moisture! I may have to create a video about aloe!

You can get shower filter, or a full filtration system for the house. Costs much more, but worth it, but the shower filter will do in the interim. Here's the one I use: amzn.to/3Ttb9v4

Hard water maybe? 🤔 I usually add a daily moisturizer before detangling & then cornrows for a few days, then spray with lavender water & change to 2 strand twists & so on & so on ☺️

We have hard water, it's horrible on the hair and skin. I precondition before I wash my hair, as well as condition afterwards. This has really worked wonders for my hair. I also do as less manipulation to my hair as possible. Wide tooth static free combs are my hairs' best friend. Thanks again Karen for blessing us with such great wisdom.🩷

Hey Karen, sorry it took me a minute to respond. I had 4 teeth pulled on Monday. A minor pause in life. Jesus being my healer, that's all it was, a minor pause which gives me even more time to praise my Heavenly Father in my time of healing 🙌🏽.The static free comb is made by H2PRO. The one I have is the GOMCOMb 18. They have several different types. I got mine at my local beauty supply. They also have them on Amazon. I really like mine. Hopefully this blesses someone. Hey Karen. Not sure what happened? I replied the name of the comb a couple of days ago and somehow it didn't go through, but anyway the name of the comb is H2PRO. There are several types.
