Hey love! Why does my hair remain "puffy" esp @ the ends when i try to do twist outs? It's so frustrating. The roots have a great curl but the middle to end sometimes stay puffy and don't retain the curl all the way down. Could it be that it's not set enough? Sometimes it still feels a little damp so that COULD be the culprit?

Why can’t you do this style on wet hair? I wash, condition, braid ( not twist), and it last a week. Is it because it’s a twist that you recommend dry hair?

What to do about hair loss due to chemotherapy. It grew back, but after menopause it came out again, and this loss was worse than the chemotherapy loss. My hair is thin now. I try to keep my scalp clean. I am using your drops on my second bottle, and need to reorder another bottle soon. My hair is gray/black, and natural. I just want my fullness back and if I get my length back a double bonus. So can you do a tutorial for cancer survivors and how we can help our hair follicles. Thanks so much.❤❤❤

@@KarenofCurlHouse my pleasure. Today I went searching for a spray water-based leave in (to use instead of plain water) and wow was it difficult to find one that did not have oils in it but I finally found one🙂. It was also difficult to find one of my current moisture cream products that also did not have oil in it so I chose one with the least amount of oil. Tomorrow is wash day and now I have a plan. I am 6 mos in transitioning to natural and am looking forward to seeing my hair without a relaxer; it’s been over 40 years!

I am 59. My chemical-process free hair is about 40/60 gray and just 3" short of my waist. I do my own hair because the stylists in my area seem to be more skilled at working with artificial hair (weaves/sew-in's, chemically altered hair) and very little knowledge/experience working with Black hair longer than your neck. I was raised on Ultra Sheen (the green one for xtra dry hair) and I swear by it to this day - especially in the warmer/humid months (I live in Michigan) when any form of heat styling is a waste of time. Thanks so much for the information on gray hair. I have also used Matrix and Joico purple shampoos with great results.
@KarenofCurlHouse16 сағат бұрын
I used Joice and Matrix in the hair salon. Excellent products. Now I certainly remember the Ulta Sheen from back in the day --I even remember the SMELL. 😂 It certainly keep the hair soft and nourished and locked in moisture.

@@KarenofCurlHouse hi Karen 🙋🏽. Of course deap conditioner then live in then gel. I think I many time to touch my hair. Early when I wasn't grey I used only leave conditioner and all was ok- was curly hair without anything. @lisafromthebronx85936 күн бұрын
I use to just wash my hair condition it. Then blow dry my hair with a leave in conditioner after that put hair grease in and set it with a pony tail. Through out the week I would just add water until my next wash day. Also periodically I would just add leave in and water and reset my hair back into the pony tail until wash day.
