I used to split notes all the time! It really frustrated my! No matter how easy the piece of music was I would always have at least 1 split note per piece. So I spent years trying to figure out why I was splitting and how to stop it.
Follow along with this video and you too can stop splitting notes on the trumpet. (It also works for other brass instruments)

I’m a college trumpet player and these exercises are just great in general too! I’ve been splitting more than I used to so I’ve worked these into my fundies sessions, but they also just feel good on the face! Recommend
