Agreed, that shit was annoying, rainbowing urs of rainbowed dokkan urs/lrs to help others was grindy altruism and very few chain battles had both super effective ftp attackers and connectors, most wanted you to whale for the most recent dokkanfest. In fact looking through chain battle guides I don't see any where it let you use a ftp for each and get a highscore. Rewards were good, mode was trash

Also, you're do not "log in and do 1 run" the shittest part about chain battle was making sure you actually got the characters needed, got the friends needed, check the wiki to see what attacker and connecter you need, then sift through 50 teams looking for that 1 guy with the rainbows, and then RNG f's you over and doesn't give the good characters. it was a dogshit event with top tier rewards

W Opinion on difficulty, too many people want every new event to be incredibly difficult and that’s just not fair to low spending, F2P or new characters. That’s bad game design and can end up nuking a solid portion of the community who would get frustrated and leave.

I just realized something: Chain Battles are like draft leagues in fantasy football. Sometimes I have the players to get good results and sometimes I have to sit out for a season because of my lack of resources (and desire to grind the game for hours on end). I wasn't losing anything by not playing, but I was getting rewards for participating, even if my box wasn't the strongest. I will say, a skip feature for the animations would've helped out a lot

22:30 hey man, those cheat meals really come in clutch, it does help to splurge from time to time as long as you aren't doing it on a super regular basis. I was doing the low/no carb diet and I lost 70 pounds over a year, 1 cheat meal a month is all it took

What I didn't like about Chain Battle is that it sometimes forced you to have multiple copies of the same f2p units rainbowed in different awakenings to fill the roster, which was not even for yourself, it was for your 'friends', which you hoped they were doing the same (majority wasn't). And, quite often those max f2p units, never return as boosted in Chain Battle.

AGL Vegito Blue isn't amazing, but there were a few Buu Red Zone missions where he was basically necessary on global if you didn't have AGL SSJ3 Goku.

My opinions on Chain Battle, at least, come from playing it and not from Twitter. Even with a guide it is was ungodly annoying to figure out what characters would give good scores. Don’t need the bird app to know it was a frustrating event.

i find dmg reduction better then dodge for two reason, 1 is that dodge can be canceled eventually which turns out alot of dodge builds are gonna suffer from it while dmg works always cus of math stuff that i can't explain properly cus i play dokkan, 2 is dmg reduction is rare to get above 70% cus you realize that they are way more scared to make dmg reduction units cus they last so much longer then any other unit, hence why red ssj3 vegeta was great for tanking for super long also they gave bosses dmg reduction and it turned to make the bosses waaay more tougher

Im confused why Datruths said Ssj3 Goku requires too many buu saga allies to work. He needs 1? Just a partner for his on rotation passive and they prock the intro.

Go back and read his passive, he requires Buu Saga units in the same turn for both his guard and damaged reduction. If you only have 1 other unit you could have a rotation where goku has 0 defensive buffs because the other unit isn't on it.

@@hunterhudson4577 Yes, I did read it right. My point was if he’s on rotation with his partner being a Buu Saga unit. That’s it. That’s all you need. His intro requires 1 other unit. His on rotation passive (his partner) requires 1 other unit. Your team for him to function just needs him on rotation with 1 Buu saga character as his partner. That’s it. And he gets everything.

@@hunterhudson4577Secondly, the on rotation Buu saga alley is only for an additional def boost and guard. Not his damage reduction. That’s for having one on the team.

@@ssj3rebox Though you make a good point, it's still important to keep those same category units on his team. With how his damage reduction dissipates with each turn that guard becomes more important. Is he terrible without guard? Absolutely not, but it's an unnecessary handicap.

@@hunterhudson4577 Keep in mind the reducing DR isn’t as big if a factor if your team is built with strong damage dealers like Beast Gohan and Gogeta. Goku himself is a huge damage dealer and with that, the fight can go quickly enough to the point that it’s over before his DR even hits 0.

Take #14 is so mid because more than half the major fights in the game don't even allow our debuffs to be used, there's very little major fights that allow you to lower boss atk/def or seal/stun

14: Dokkan has already done that many times. They just made bosses immune to everything and disabled Dodge + damage reduction. And, it wasn't fun. And, even with the current difficulty, and the difficulty when those immune bosses were prevalent, these are still not the hardest times we had in Dokkan. The first SBR battles were the hardest because of the lack of units. 15: LR Agl Blue Goku & Vegeta should NOT have had a transformation mechanic. Should have been directly an LR Vegito Blue unit.

I don't agree with the blue boys being good in short content when I feel like they are much better in longer content. I mean you aren't getting that 7th turn active on short content but it's not hard to get in a fight like gogeta blue.
