I've done this method a couple of times, it works amazing it you use a dark image over it also. After making sub tumbler's for over a year now. I've made alot of mistakes. I've also learned form them. When you were speaking about the seal..and perfecting that. I have a suggestion. So after I line up the sub paper on the cup. I hold paper very tight, also i not only use the sub paper I also wrap it again with plain paper. Also very tight. Sealing and making sure there's no air or gaps. Then I use masking type the blue kind and wrap around the cup very tight. Temp should be at 390-400 6 mins. My tumblers have been flawless. The reason you're getting that light ghosting near the seal is because your tumbler silicone wrap is leaving a gap and not enough pressure. I dont use the silicone wraps on tumblers or shrink wrap. You may know this already, but maybe this can help others. 🤗

Great recovery. Don't give up. I've mastered the seams . I have a issue with my sublimation tape Seen on the top of the cup . and it's top quality tape ,I've 20 cups and now I'm seeing this. I'm using a sublime heating machine.

For perfect seamss once you lay down the long strip of tape on the end run your nail were the 2 ends of the paper meet

To get rid of the seal just don't put the seam right where the wrap meets off set it a little and it will work. It will get rid of that ghost line.

Hey on your seam tape it all of the way down the seam with one long piece then run your fingernail down the crease to push all of the air out.

I have a question! I was watching you video on the $ tree cutting board. I don't understand how the image goes through the white vinyl? I watch the whole video and was confused. Sorry it may be a stupid question.

For the crease use 9.50 x 8.125. When creating the design go as far to the top of the paper as possible...thats the end you cut the white off. Other end folds over so you can line the edge of the design up.

Only cut the sides and one end of your pattern. Wrap ur cup end pull with pattern very tight by the long end and it should help with the ghosting

I am using Epson et 2800 with origibal epson ink and an Oster XL oven at 400 degrees. I made sure my print was really tight on my tumbler, used painters tape and heat tape to secure it, used a thermometer inside my oven showing 375, left it in the oven for 6 mins. However, during the process the tape starting to coming off a little and my picture didnt transfer at all. Only my tumbler was a little burnt since it looked brown. Can someone tell me what Im doing wrong??

You should be using shrink wrap to help seal it better.

Use masking tape you will love the results first wrap the paper then wrap again tight whith regular maskingtape the baige one and 400 for 4:30 minutes

this would work great if it's a full wrap with a lot details only. Because the trace from last image . I don't it would on a single or smaller images or words because you would have to match it right on the same spot and that would be hard. I'm guessing.

You image is super bright and glossy on paper can I ask your setting

I thought when doing a sublimation tumbler in air fryer or toaster produced toxic fumes. If so wouldn’t that be in the oven

Watch snazzy moon designs KZfaq videos, his tumblers come out perfect every dam time..he does a video on how he tapes..You are getting that seam like that because you arent taping it correctly and air is still getting in. Trust me if you do like him you will NEVER mess up another tumbler ever. Good luck to you. ❤❤❤

My seam is bad too. And I can’t get it to look better.

I turn mine ever 2 minutes while I bake it perfect EVERYTIME I cook for 8 to 20 minutes

😱 how was the sub paper not completely carbonized after 40+ min? Usually at 400 the paper and especially the sub colors start looking burned after only 7min....

Would this work if you burnt the tumbler? Lol
