I'm from a different part of our amazing world (Ireland) but the principles are the same ,nearly everyone's hitting pastures for too long and giving it all to the cattle rather than going in short and sweet and moving on to fresh sections. What you are advocating is not taught in Agricultural colleges but it should be. Tight grazing starves the soil biome of nutrients. Less inputs and more smarts. 👍

People tend to have a hard time thinking for themselves nowadays but all we need to do is look to nature and see what the natural rhythms are and then move on and tweak our practices from there. Thanks for the comment.

your cows should be gettin all the nutrients from those spiny amaranth(pigweed) tops. they walked right by them, they will learn to top them all off..,thanks for all your efforts.
