All your need from toothpaste is the Floride for your teeth and something that provides a scrubbing agent to get the gunk off. And baking soda would work as a substitute scrubbing agent or even just a pinch of salt after wetting your mouth to scrub with. I talked about it with my dentist since I can't really tolerate the vast majority of toothpaste and mouthwash, which sucks as it means I need to unfortunately be more picky on what I buy for my mouth so that I can actually take care of it. Always research your own research on the ingredients and what they do then talk to your dental practitioner hygienist about the ingredients, what those ingredients do and if they're actually necessary to perform the need, and how it interacts with you and how much you are able to tolerate that product for self-care.

Your dental health has a direct correlation to your health in general. If you have an infection in your mouth... or poor oral hygiene that same infection, bacteria can spread to the rest of your body. In the surgical unit I worked in, patients with poor dentition n dental caries needed a thorough exam n possibly dental intervention prior to surgery. This is true, especially if there was a prosthetic implanted (if the infection went into the site of the prosthetic the entire prosthetic needs to be removed in a 3 step surgery:cleaning, removal, replacement. Take care of your teeth.

I went through this phase last year. Checking ingredients on everything and overspending to get “cleaner” things. It’s exhausting and ultimately everything is bad. There are toxins in everything we eat, drink, and use. The only way we know for sure there aren’t is if we make it on our own. Since everything comes from another source there is no way to really know what is in everything.

The gospel is simple. Jesus Christ, who is God in human form, died on the cross for the sins of every person. He was buried and rose again three days later. Eternal life is a free gift. it’s received, by faith (trust) in Christ alone. it’s not earned. Jesus said in John 6:47, Truly, truly, I say to you, he that believes (trusts) in me has everlasting life. Once saved, always saved. Salvation can never be lost! Trust Jesus alone and forever live

This is the biggest misinformation post I have seen Bobby post. SLSs are MORE than safe. We have almost 100 years of data that shows not only is it safe but an effective cleansing product for teeth. Dyes are not ideal, but guess what? We spit this out… not sure what the issue with that is. Lastly titanium dioxide is so helpful that it is commonly used as a sunscreen ingredient due to its WHITE PASTEY structure. So yes, it is used in paint, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t safe. 2 minutes of brushing your teeth is enough for everything (each ingredient used in the process) to be absorbed directly to your bloodstream and spread throughout the entire organism, sublingual is the best absorption method that is non-invasive! Second, the combination of harmful ingredients in everything you use, ingest, breath in adds up and if you use it consistently throughout the lifetime leads to manifestation of poor health, low quality of life and majority of people just call it “I’m just getting older” excuse, but in reality you did it to yourself within decades, drop by drop until the bucket overflow. If just tiny harmful ingredient amount would be enough for people to drop dead, than this discussion would be unnecessary. However an organism is created in a way that you actively won’t feel much difference of consistent damage until organs or organ systems fail, you are given many chances to implement positive changes, but you say “oh, if it would be that bad I would know and feel the difference”....

As a student in the dental field, I highly disagree. SLS is an important ingredient in toothpaste that many companies use because it is abrasive/helps remove stain and prevents buildup of calculus/plaque that could lead up to cavities, which can ultimately lead to systemic issues throughout your body. My best recommendation is to go for a toothpaste that is ADA approved 👍🦷🪥

this "anti-sulfate" scam started decades ago. Its a marketing ploy that gained traction a long time ago. If you ask a dermatologist they usually will explain it depends on your own personal needs. What Sunem said as if you brush with it too often, you'll mess up your teeth a lot worse than just using regular toothpaste. It's not recommended more than twice a week.

It sounds like a senior citizen wrote this. Bobby doesn't smile at the end. It's my theory that bobby tries to market toward the health conscious...but, the people who end up being his fan are lonely grannies who like watching Rose grow up. But yeah. He is dear. I agree.

Ok, this is just BS! I live in the UK 🇬🇧, our dentists say any toothpaste is ok as long as it contains Sodium Fluoride 1440 PPM (Parts per million), that’s what protects teeth from cavities. It’s the way you brush your teeth that matters and what toothbrush you use, don’t press hard and be careful with electric toothbrushes! Floss and avoid Sugary things and keep them in moderation! Stay blessed!

Most importantly all toothpaste must contain fluoride. Alot of "natural" toothpaste don't have fluoride. My teeth fell apart after 10 years of non-fluoride "natural" toothpaste.very expensive lesson. Always listen to dentists when it comes to teeth.

It’s also important to research if the water you drink at home has fluoride. If it does, you really don’t need a toothpaste with fluoride, but if it doesn’t, it’s an important aspect of choosing a toothpaste.

Read Fluoride deception. Dentists need to make money on your dental needs, not to care about the health of your teeth. Caring for your own health is your responsibility. When someone will learn that lesson?

No one forces you to go to the dentist. Quit acting like any institution is somehow out to get you. That doc is for profit too. Just out to get us too

I agree. When I went no fluoride for 5 years. My kids all got cavities x10 when I switched back, no cavities now for 10 years. I guess you could get it in mouthwash but you do need it. Growing up in the city we never got cavities, water had fluoride in it but the case outside the city unfortunately.
