All your need from toothpaste is the Floride for your teeth and something that provides a scrubbing agent to get the gunk off. And baking soda would work as a substitute scrubbing agent or even just a pinch of salt after wetting your mouth to scrub with. I talked about it with my dentist since I can't really tolerate the vast majority of toothpaste and mouthwash, which sucks as it means I need to unfortunately be more picky on what I buy for my mouth so that I can actually take care of it. Always research your own research on the ingredients and what they do then talk to your dental practitioner hygienist about the ingredients, what those ingredients do and if they're actually necessary to perform the need, and how it interacts with you and how much you are able to tolerate that product for self-care.
@violetblythe69127 ай бұрын
Saying titanium dioxide is a derivative of paint is like saying noodles are a derivative of mac and cheese. They don’t get titanium dioxide FROM paint, it’s a naturally occurring mineral added to thousands of things from makeup, sunscreen, ibuprofen, and sure, paint.

Your dental health has a direct correlation to your health in general. If you have an infection in your mouth... or poor oral hygiene that same infection, bacteria can spread to the rest of your body. In the surgical unit I worked in, patients with poor dentition n dental caries needed a thorough exam n possibly dental intervention prior to surgery. This is true, especially if there was a prosthetic implanted (if the infection went into the site of the prosthetic the entire prosthetic needs to be removed in a 3 step surgery:cleaning, removal, replacement. Take care of your teeth.

I went through this phase last year. Checking ingredients on everything and overspending to get “cleaner” things. It’s exhausting and ultimately everything is bad. There are toxins in everything we eat, drink, and use. The only way we know for sure there aren’t is if we make it on our own. Since everything comes from another source there is no way to really know what is in everything.

Eternal life is a free gift. it’s received, by faith (trust) in Christ alone. it’s not earned. Jesus said in John 6:47, Truly, truly, I say to you, he that believes (trusts) in me has everlasting life. Once saved, always saved. Salvation can never be lost! Trust Jesus alone and forever live

2 minutes of brushing your teeth is enough for everything (each ingredient used in the process) to be absorbed directly to your bloodstream and spread throughout the entire organism, sublingual is the best absorption method that is non-invasive! Second, the combination of harmful ingredients in everything you use, ingest, breath in adds up and if you use it consistently throughout the lifetime leads to manifestation of poor health, low quality of life and majority of people just call it “I’m just getting older” excuse, but in reality you did it to yourself within decades, drop by drop until the bucket overflow. If just tiny harmful ingredient amount would be enough for people to drop dead, than this discussion would be unnecessary. However an organism is created in a way that you actively won’t feel much difference of consistent damage until organs or organ systems fail, you are given many chances to implement positive changes, but you say “oh, if it would be that bad I would know and feel the difference”....

I have been facing this issue for almost a year now and also dry mouth. I first thought it is from mouth so I got my teeth cleaned and the dentist assured me that it will cure the bad breath but it didn’t. I have gerd issues but that is normal from a while and i also think i have sinus because i usually have running nose when i get up and a kind of irritation in nose. At work I have to talk to many people and it kills my confidence when they rub their nose. I just forget what i was talking about and it is creating problems for me. I brush my teeth twice a day. As a student in the dental field, I highly disagree. SLS is an important ingredient in toothpaste that many companies use because it is abrasive/helps remove stain and prevents buildup of calculus/plaque that could lead up to cavities, which can ultimately lead to systemic issues throughout your body. My best recommendation is to go for a toothpaste that is ADA approved 👍🦷🪥

I get so confused by all this. I used to use Bumble and Bumble Volumizing Shampoo and I loved it. Then they reformulated it with no sulfates and it's horrible! Made my hair feel dull and not clean. So I don't know, for the little amount you use and you do wash it out, is it worth it to not feel your hair being clean?

this "anti-sulfate" scam started decades ago. Its a marketing ploy that gained traction a long time ago. If you ask a dermatologist they usually will explain it depends on your own personal needs. If you sre prone to oily hair sulfates would benefit you. If you are more dry and color treated a sulfate free shampoo maybe more beneficial. I prefer shampoo with sulfates because i need something to cut down on the oil.
