The sun was reflecting off my window, and melting the vinyl siding on my neighbor's house. The glare and reflected sunlight was so hot it warped then melted the siding. After searching for a solution, I found this ez snap window shades.
I decided to document and review this product. As a professional exterior contractor, I have seen this issue a lot. As you can see in the video, the EZ SNAP SYSTEM was an instant fix. It's a quick, easy install that you can see out of very easily from the inside too.

@@toddgack4432 their website has pricing....depends on size you need. It installs with little screw in tabs/ or self adhering tabs....then you push the screen over the pins...then a cover goes over the pin....pretty easy really. I think for this window, everything I needed was about 120.00 usd

@@bradplaney4936 There are six windows on my neighbors house facing my way. I do not know how I can figure out which window(s) are at fault.

@@markgoodwin183 watch when the sun moves around and faces that wall of windows...watch it for a few hours... you should see an intense beam of reflected light...it could be 1 or all of them. If you are in the United States, then if your affected wall faces west, it is a morning sun doing the damage. If your wall faces east, it is a afternoon sun doing it.

Can you see out of the window in your house? My neighbor’s does this but it’s their only window on that side.

Watch the beam and intercept it before it hits your house. Fence, or something maybe

@AdrienneDam I don't have a clue as our house is insulated very well. All I know is it adds privacy by darkening the window on outside, yet doesn't make hardly any difference looking out the window. And it solved the problem...I have also installed this on a few other houses in our subdivision since this happened for the same reasons.
