In this vocabulary video, Grammar man explains the difference between stop, finish and end.
We use the verbs STOP, FINISH AND END in similar ways, to mean ‘come to a stop’:
However, most of the time they are NOT INTERCHANGEABLE.
They have different GRAMMATICAL STRUCTURES AND DIFFERENT
MEANINGS.
