We tested our winders for months now at Citoplasmas studio, this is the 3rd gen, a lot of improvements have been done. If you need equipment for you stopmotion animation studio, this tool is great to get smooth animation, I recommend them.

Crazy to take on a feature film. Looks like you guys have made a lot of progress! When you remove the winders and rigs in post do you have to do it for every frame, or is there a way around it?

There are options to remove big part of the scene out with masks, but the part where the puppet has contact with the rig is always a frame by frame work

You're so underrated..Your work is awesome and I believe you have a nice team to support you on your journey of stopmotion. You should start a membership program. Lego is really light, but the best would be to glue a piece of square tube on the back. Or use bluetack or wax

Thanks Edu, exciting update! i'll try to be quick before they're gone. a question, i'm also interested to get the racks that you provide separately and wondering what pinion gear would be compatible with your pitch module of 0.5 tooth rack and how many teeth will the pinion need to have if I get the rack? Thanks

Hi, not sure if I understand the question. The extra racks provided work for each of the winders. If you want to use them on your own gears, you can use any number of teeth if the dimension of the teeth is module 0.5. More teeth less precise because the diameter of the gear will be bigger.

@@edupuertasfruns I see, so probably pinion gear about 10 or 12 teeth at 0.5 pitch would be the best on those racks. Do you plan to stock pinion gears as well?

For action figure fight sequence would you recommend two rs6 rigs, 2 he Delrin xy winders, or 1 rs6 rig and delrin xy?

I always recommend to have different tools, sometimes a rig is better than a winder or viceversa. Pick one of each or if you can't, a rig is much more versatile than a winder.

How long was your process to complete the feature? From development to delivery? And what was your budget?

We have not made the feature yet. We made a trailer in order to get the budget, and we are there. Searching funding for 3M euros, and we expect 2 years to make the film
