I've been around the game of golf for 26 years. This guy is exactly what the golf world needs. What an amazing instructor..I'd love to just watch him teach for a week.

Thank you Dan. I have been playing golf for decades. The way Dan explained the 3 releases is something super helpful. I have never seen any other coach making it simple and effective.

“Release Zero”: I love it! Dan is the best golf teacher in the world at telling you exactly the cause of your bad swing, why it ruins your swing, and exactly what you need to change to fix it.

I have spent the last two weeks watching and rewatching all of your videos with a view of mastering release 1 for shots close to the green before proceeding. I have made this work for me very well over 3 rounds but i am not doing it correctly, still applying a hit and picking a landing spot. Grip too tight sometimes and i tend to pick a landing and calculate roll. Not sure why this works better than the paul runyon system Shiels also uses but it is the best i have found and o really like the ability to hit a longer shot and control trajectory. I am going to do a launch monitor with loose grip today to get various distances with different clubs. Unfortunately i dont learn well from books but i will buy one anyway. This approach is a difference maker, thanks for sharing.

Amazing drill. Thank you for these great short game videos and thank you for letting us know what wedge you’re using in your drills.

I practiced one and 2 this week. Couple hours a day. I haven’t played so there’s that. But I’ve been chipping on hard ground and deep grass. I must say I’m pretty darn happy with my practice sessions. It’s more aggressive. I’ve found im hitting past the hole.

For me, closing my stance moves my low point forward, and I stop chunking my finesse wedges. I can still shank them, however!

I’ve Only recently discovered your videos and started to try and implement them into my game, and what a difference already, this is stuff I wish I knew 20 years ago! Brilliant, and the book is in the post 😊. I’m just wondering if the feeling of the right hand coming “underneath” Like an underarm bowl applies to release one aswell as two and three? Does the feeling apply to the bump and run also? Great stuff Dan. Thanks
