Livakivi clone 1 is still in Estonia working on the renovation while the real Livakivi is in Japan. God knows how many Livakivi clones are out there. There is no official estimate, but there can be many and they can be anywhere...

That poor, _poor_ pine martin I love these videos. Easily top 3 on KZfaq, but the fate of that pine martin left me so saddened

Just a head’s up, I’m in last year of med school. People using this kind of chimney with firewood have a drastically higher chance of developing Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) due to all the particles and other shit flying around when using it. The risk is so high that it’s actually one of the red flags to diagnose a patient with this disease. The fact that you keep it open worries me cus it majorly increases the amount of particles in the room, therefore in your lungs. You should try to ventilate very well, wear a mask or even better find an alternative to this system…

I always look forward to new episodes in this series. This one was definitely a sad one. The way you film your videos, you make your place seem very remote and in the middle of nowhere, and I still imagine it that way even though you have neighbors and internet and whatnot. The way your house is almost half-outside and full of animals that come in and out is really beautiful.

I binge watched this series in a couple of hours! I owe you a huge thanks, your videos and inspirating mindset have been a main reason for me studying Japanese 179 days straight. Now this series has made me really inspired to start renovating our grandparents summer cottage, because I will be spending next summer in the same town as the summer cottage is! I also love how the nature close to this old store of yours looks so familiar, since I am from Finland :D Have a nice time in Japan!

I lived in apartment like yours for a year in Poland. A regular old house in a villege, 2 floors + big basement. And heating system was pretty much the same. And it's truly an art to heat it up at a first place, and don't overpush it so everything will burn in 1 hour and you need to start again. A technic that you figured out is pretty the same that I used, except a newspapers instead of a firestarters, and small branches instead of a pellets. Pretty suprised to see the same technic in your video) Pro tip: Coal is an ultimate tool. Little bit hard to start a fire, little bit expensive in big amounts, but burns for hours without a need to check it often. Silesian style.

hey i saw your video about how to learn Japanese and i have a question as a beginner. i hope you see my comment cuz its something I'm not sure what or how to approach .I'm honestly only interested on learning how to read in Japanese I'm not that interested in speaking or listening. what do you think is the best way on how to learn how to read in Japanese I'm okay with learning speaking, writing and listening if its required to learn how to read.
@Livakivi
@Livakivi 3 ай бұрын
If you only want to improve your reading, all you have to do is sentence mine from reading and read a lot, that's pretty much it, extremely simple. You don't need to do any listening, writing, output etc practice. Though using audio for the words in your cards could help you with listening etc down the line a lot as well, and doesnt require any extra effort.

@@Livakivi is it required to learn hiragana.katagana and kanji ?
@Livakivi
@Livakivi 3 ай бұрын
@@Ferzny Yeah, you can't read otherwise. You want to start by learning hiragana, then start learning vocabulary that include kanji, e.g with anki with the decks I mentioned in my tutorial, then katakana can be learned at the same time as you start learning kanji words.
