A taste of the powerful waves drenching Portreath as Storm Ciara marches through the UK. A bird's eye view from the Deadman's hut show the waves breaking over the old hut at the bottom of the harbour wall. Nature's finest fire works!

This instant, storm "Sabine" (= "Ciara") is rattling with us in Germany. Thanks for taking a healthy saltwater shower for the good of us! In your video I always look to the houses on top of the cliff. May be the roofers must have extraordinary skills, what do you think?

Cornish houses are built to last! We endure a lot of high winds and stormy weather. I've always thought it was because Cornwall sticks out in to the Atlantic, one of the first place to hit land! Sarah :)

Hi Judy, I will be very tempted to film Storm Dennis, especially given the interest in storm videos and they are relatively easy to do but it will depend how much rain there is - don't want to risk the camera! It will be a judgement call on the day, Sarah :)
