Thank you for sharing, we were booked into tree top challenge this wk and had a phone call that they were closed due to damage and I had no idea, plus I always take the back roads.

Can't get over how many cars are on the road there, seems no ones getting the message to stay away unless you live there, or are there to help with the clean up. Crews are working hard to clean up and get power back on, but sight seers make it difficult for them to get around. Yes, it's an amazing sight to see, and I do feel for all those people who've been impacted by this.

last 2 days before this & on this day never seen 1 crew doing shit. Everyone is on holidays, no traffic control at major intersections what a joke, feel sorry for you mate.

There’s a lot of cars on the road ‘cos a lot of ppl live there, and they still have things to do. I am one of those people. I have moved to my sister’s place on the Gold Coast until power is restored, but I go up every 2nd day to check the house, and pick up things I need, as well as attend community meetings to get updates on what’s happening.

@@walkindalight I have issue with residents going up and down there, or those trying to help with the clean up, my only issue is with sight seers that don't need to be there. I'm so sorry you're All going through this.

Thanks for sharing the after math of the destruction. Yep Australia never had Tornado's until the early 2000s. Amazing what they can create to destroy just like some of those massive floods aye

Look up the tornado that went through the south side of brisbane in the early mid seventies. Its well documented.

Oh wow, I'm in South Australia, is this what the Cyclone done up there? Never seen anything like all that damage before..... Hope all you guys keep safe up there. Imagine all the poor animals (and Yowies) that were caught up in all that and also the time it's going to take to grow again and repair itself. A lot of birds, Flora and Fauna would have been lost, not to mention the damage to people's homes etc....

No this was just a afternoon storm, very big winds, i've seen reports it was a tornado some damage is 30 kms wide, must be the biggest tornado in the world lol. Up north around Cains go flooded from the after a cyclone Jasper.

Od, looks like a war zone. My heart goes out to all that lost their homes Some of those trees were hundreds of yrs old. Gone in a flash. So sad. Mother nature can be so cruel. The poor animals and birds must of suffered too. God bless

yep its a real mess, the damage I seen is going to take a very long time to sort out.
