Love the reviews on lesser known brands, you can find some gems! I found the Anker Soundcore mini from one of your videos, still got to be one of most efficient performances from such a tiny device. Keep it up bud!!

Hi, Stu! I have been using the Tribit Stormbox Pro daily for more than 2 months. The lows and the highs do extend and improve after the drivers have been broken in for about 2 months of daily use at around 30% to 60% volume level for around an hour. It did sound thin and disappointing when I first got it especially on the bass reproduction and the highs that I had to have the speaker on side on orientation, especially on the left side, to get more details from the mids and highs and to avoid the nasal sound of some female voices. The speaker also sounded a bit grainy at around 70% volume level with some RnB or EDM tracks. The sound reproduction and quality, for me, is very good after the break-in period. It also sounds smoother and clearer even at around 80% volume level for around 2 hours continuous in an open space at the beach with the bass notes retained and sounding balanced together with the mids and highs. I am happy and satisfied with the Tribit Stormbox Pro and its sound quality.

So do the Pro has low bass better after break in than regular stormbox ? I do interested.. But so many said it wasn't good at low bass make me rethink..

This is a great review of a great speaker. I got two of them today, because I will be doing DJ duties at a small party in a hall in a few weeks. I have tried the feature of pairing two of these speakers together, and it works great. I do believe it will be sufficiently loud for my needs, especially as a dual setup. But it's also a wonderful speaker on it's own. I also have two storm box micros, well, a storm box micro, and a micro 2, all I can say is that Tribit makes really high-fidelity pricey sounding products for reasonable prices. Thank you for your in depth review.

My original Stormbox fits nicely into the bottle cage on my bicycle. It doesn't appear like the Pro will fit well, so likely a no-go for me even if it sounds a bit better. Great review!

How CUTE is that little munchkin!! 3.04 As always I hope all are well, I almost bought the Ikea lamp speaker but I just don't listen to music enough to justify the price! this sounds nice though might be worth a look.

I have now the stormbox, and next the stormbox pro.. The SB is compact but with a nice sounds and bass but i want it loud with more bass that's why im planning to buy the SBP!...

You're correct, the tribit stormbox is more bassier but the pro has more volume when you use a EQ application it is more awesome, with more bass

Now the upgraded version on Amazon has access to the tribit app and they upgraded few things more like Bluetooth 5.3 :)

I have to say that I was slightly disappointed with The StormBox Pro initially. The reason for this is probably because I had high expectations. I have all of Tribits speakers and all of them surprised me (in a good way) except the SBP. Now, after a couple of months of use I have to say that I’ve grown to love it. If it weren’t for the form factor and the volume I probably wouldn’t have stuck with it. I was able to cop the SBP for $70 because of a Tribit promotion and at that price it’s well worth it. But with that said don’t pay more than $100…

And now the upgraded it and now the upgraded version has access to the app specially for the eq. For the same price Bluetooth version now 5.3 awesome speaker.

I had an Ultimate Ears Wonderboom a few years back. A stonking good speaker. I'm presuming thats a heated outdoor pool or are you just that much a slave to your content 😁

The tribit stormbox pro after several months of using it, the passive radiators, bass becomes louder it is more pronounced

The design of the old one is a pretty obvious rip off of the Ultimate Ears Boom so I am not surprised they had to change the name. Honestly, being such an obvious knock off puts me right off, personally I wouldn't spend money with a company whose marketing just involves copying someone else's IP.

That’s true! It does look a lot like the UE boom I cant deny! But you know the saying… good artists copy, great artists steal 😉. IMO, the Tribit stuff is in a league above the competitors!

I like the clear microphone sound. However the test music lacks singing. It also lacks deep base. Please use a song with lyrics and highs and lows--a dynamic song. Stay away from RAPs. These artists tend to not have a very good quality voice.

Must be one of the WORST. Lacking bass even with Bass-up on according to several reviewers relatively speaking. Totally meaningless product in this tight competition..
