I remember watching this video when I was around 5 years old, its what really got me interested in the idea of cosplay, and now I have a full set of pimped out arc armor, and am currently working on an airborne clone kit

I do like the original stormtroopers believe me, but something just strikes me more with the rogue one stormtroopers, they just look amazing in my opinion. Edit: (I hate how evil they have portrayed the empire over the years, it’s really just getting boring now with the new media coming out, like it was never like that in the original trilogy)

Good job! I like how there's pre-assembled parts that stay together - obviously you've taken this suit off and on many times, and you have a system to make it faster and easier. Obviously no Jedi mind-tricks!

I know that and i do respect them for it, they are the ones who got me into all this in the first place but we've had some encounters that have sort of put me off joining them so im just happy to stay with the smaller groups who still raise money and have a good time :)

Quite the effort to get all suited up. I had no idea there were so many component parts to a Stormtrooper uniform. I suspect that going to the loo would be a major undertaking requiring a certain amount of forward planning, no just rushing off for a quick visit.

Wow that was really cool. This demonstrates a few things. A: You always see stormtroopers wearing gear when doing whatever, even outside of battle, with the complexity, you can see why. B: A female stormtrooper would not use the fan made version with an exposed belly and chest a foot sticking out (Which I thought looked dumb). I wish a friend of mine liked star wars enough to get something like this, he has a really deep voice and I bet would sound like the ones from the movie.

I always wondered why stormtroopers can't shoot straight. They spend so long putting their armour on, they miss target practice! 😂 Very cool armour though. I know what my friend went through putting hers on now!

Very nice! The only 2 things I noticed were that you need to re-adjust your chest plate to hang higher up, and you need to paint the vertical lines on your traps and tears on your helmet. Other than that, very nice trooper.

I think in Star Wars the stromtrooper's armor is also make of plastic. Considering the fact that it protects them from nothing. :) Great video! Very cool.

I knew you're a girl straight away, you're very pretty. I have the same storm trooper costume but you got yours for a great price! I paid €1500 from mine including shipping back in 2005. You look great as a storm trooper

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! Just got my kit and in the middle of putting mine together! Have small PC fans set up in the helmet too running off a 9v battery and also a small amp box that I can plug an mp3 player into also! Will post when its complete!!! KEEP TROOPING!!!

Technically, the stormies are all meant to hold the blaster with the left hand. It also makes it easier to hold the blaster - it stops the magazine hitting the chest plate.

One thing I never quite understood about Stoormetroopers is why white? Sure on Hoth that's a good choice...because of the ice and snow and all but on Tatooine? Seems like you'd stick out like a sore thumb. And another thing what about when they gotta take a leak or a dump? Is there a button ass flap like on long johns or is there like a tube that goes up there butt? I'm just sayen...

I would assume it was the same reason as the British cherry picker coats during the colonial wars. So you wouldn't shoot your own men on the battlefield.

+Michael Justice The Stormtrooper-armor was designed before the Civil War. Most Units were not supposed to fight a war. You could think of them as police and riot-troops. In the most cases, there was no need to paint the blank armor. The Stormtrooperarmor is obviously pretty similar to the Clone Trooper-armor. Clones fought against Droids (most of the time) and i guess there was no need for camoflage either, since droids would detect them by heat or motion. Lastly Stormtroopers were not supposed to hide. They would let everybody know, theyre coming to inflict fear after the civil war began. Stealthy Units and mainly battle-focused ones like Shadow Troopers or Special OPS actually had black armor. Just dont ask me about the Scout Troopers in episode 6. I'd say its because of Unity but i have no clue.

A good joke would have been after getting all that gear on for eight minutes, when you finally finish a laser comes from off screen, hits you, and you flop dead on the bed. Because stormtroopers are such canon fodder.
