Thank you for this tutorial. i had lots of use for it in my Heli building endevours. How ever, i wonder if its time for a more detailed tutorial that goes throug every aspect, with PIDs, Altitude hold, Adjusting Gyro, Double Main Rotors etc. Considerations when building custom fuel tank for your heli etc. a Heli Building 101 type of tutorial.

Look at 10:10 , it needs to be neutral

Mine works fine after like 15 seconds of flight, then I just goes crazy and crashes. Both rotors are on neutral and are spinning the right way. Could someone help me with this?

Beautiful tutorial, used it for a Huey but at a certain point while flying the altitude just gives out, maybe a minute into flying?

Use two delays on landing gear and landing gear bay doors, simple and effective! Hope that helps

You can add an exhaust if you think your design looks better with it, right? Just feed the exhaust a 0 or 1 number to close it. It should have been fixed a while ago.

Can you tell me is there any difference between small jet intake and large jet intake? Because in my plane I use large jet intake and set the values to the PID that were shown in the video. But when I start to take off, I put the maximum value of engine power and everything was fine. But when I put the zero value already in flight, they do not lose power and continue to work. After that I decided to put small jet intake(but I need to use large jet intake). And everything was working! So if you will help me I'll be very grateful.

i keep forgetting that PID saftey dohickey. I need to incorparate that. And taking the Throttle lever to 150 max, i forget and leave it att 1 :) I plan on implementing a pitch Hold system so i don´t have to adjust that all the time. any Tips about that or could i just use a PID and a button for reading a sensor for the Set point?

Is it possible to do a helicopter that uses the jet engine to push forward as well?.... so... jet engine provides power to rotor and also provides forward thrust?

Hi MrNjerse, can you do a electrical and battery tutorial? I set generator and battery but the battery don't charge, my veichles start, go, but when I stop them TE battery go 0 and I can't restart. Thank you

Do you recommend the engine be mounted up and down like that? And then just turn the "exhaust" sideways? Or can you mount the whole thing horizontally

I tried to use the PID for my piston engine plane, and the engine doesnt start at all, and when I disable it, it explodes just after takeoff. Can someone help?

Diesel engine may explode if it lacks of cooling. Did you forget a radiator?

Try using the rps from the turbine part of the engine as the variable for the PID

I add that too but failed. My helicopter lose power quickly after 1-5min. The fuel is fine. The battery is fine. Everything else is OK. But my temperature of the helicopter is at 2.00-3.00 is this important?

I don't know especially for a jet engine helicopter that always occurs when I ask too much power for it. Maybe keep the throttle at minimal and not all the way up which can vibrating all over the vehicle
