You can a ADD gate and connect it to the PID and seat, then to the switch, so when enabled you can still use your keys in case of trubble. Would also recommend add an thresholdgate so that when you press up or down, it disconnects the alt-hold and you can fly. Nice vid btw!

I have had much success and help building my own Altitude hold with the help of this tutorial. Thanks so much. I the best result with "Huge Rotor" i find that easier to stabalize over the smaller one. And its easier to get a stable heli that do not shake if you place the "balance point" (forgot the word now) under the rotor.

i have a weird problem, when i activate alt hold it goes all over the place, and eventualy does a flip and fall

I know PID-s from FtD(a game) but that uses Intergral time and Derivative time so this helped me a ton.

FTD could use the flooding physics of Stormworks, Stormworks could use the damage/ricochet system of FTD...

Thank you! Will use to stabilize my jet boat :) It doesnt level back out after you turn and eventually water gets to the intakes.

Hi Jersey any chance of doing a tutorial on large ship engines installed on the boat? I can't get the engines to run on large ships even with pumps and have seen it on forums. I think your the man to fix this :)

I tried this with an airplane and the fin rudders just keep going up and down really fast making the ride “bumpy” I’ve also noticed that this seems to be happening when I use gyros. Idk.

heyhey MrNJersey I Am Completly New To This Game And Have A Lot Of Questions And I Wanne make Things But i need a Vid On KZfaq (Prefered By You ) To Make A Good Engine Guide For Big Ships Because My Ships Go Verry Slow And Are Fuell Consuming As Heck And Maybe If You Can make a Tutorial on Multi Gearboxes Because I have seen poeple put more Gearboxes In their Creation But Why It Doesnt seem To Work For Me And I Hope You Grow A Lot You Diserve It !!!!

Auto hover keeps helicopter stable but 99% of the time does not keep it level at a certain altitude due to rps or weight, hence why people add alt holds as it is much better and more affective if holding a set altitude.
