I love this. I don't have the game and I probably won't play much if I had after all, but I wholeheartedly enjoyed all your stormworks creations and videos so far. Makes me want to think about how to make such games where you can engineer your heart out

I got a warp drive engine that could help with reaching a new limit for speed. Im doing a project right now, the first real enterprise warp ship in stormworks. Engine is down and it alone is capable of going 160m/s constantly as long as whole body is in 1 volume, it being air or water. All it uses is 2 water jets and 4 large motors to propel ship.This is obviously for a submarine, BUT as you know as this was used in your ship, water jets can still work above water by placing the outlet in an enclosed water container. The problem is where are we gonna get all the supply of water? This can be a really big ship with most of the space for water. Fuel isnt required. Just batteries and water. We could do it with refilling capabilities to refuel water from ocean. Anyways not that important, the main reason I came to you is because you were the one that made this submarine move so fast using some coding. If you could do the same with say a jet engine it would be the key to success. Hope you see this. I'll start working on hull of ship. Too long sry haha

@@CraigPerko aww rip k then. I'll still make it it just won't be that fast. With all the weight it might not be so fast, I mean at least there will be about 20+jet engines in every "engine" in the ship. Hopefully that is enough to make it go somewhat fast. I was hoping you would do some glitch to make it go faster lol

K update finally finished hull only took 8 hours total, honestly impressed myself with desgin. Looks alien like which is perfect. Here's Link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2190022764

K, quick update. The warp speed so far only overdrives the main secondary engines, 6 large motors connected to water jets. But it started doing loops in air. Im in the process of making the main primary engines, around 6 jet engines. Jet Engines are hard to make it go faster since it is the easiest thing to blow up in the game. I need some kind of active stabilisation. Like some ducted fans, is that possible? Are those things even enough for a large ship? Vtol thrusters are my next goal to actually get this thing flying in the air. I wont be using those as forward propulsion though since I want them to be constantly holding ship up as most steady as they can.

Hey I seen this video and I’m curious what would happen if your at max speed but not where the game starts to break you pull up out of the water how high and far will it go

There's no upper limit - or lower limit!

There's a version that should still work, but the water jets were nerfed, so the max speed isn't as high.

I got it to go 1250 kilometers an hour, so each engine is quad combustion chamber

@@CraigPerko Possibly, I did make a half mach jet boat which did happen to go mach 3 underwater. During a update that broke drag in stormworks, I made a VTOL of mine go mach 9.
