I've taken everything from my own workouts, including the exercises, tips and tricks and put it all together in one complete program called TA2 BUILD. If you're interested in a muscle building resistance bands program, you can find more information about TA2 BUILD here: www.undersunfitness.com/pages/build?JGYT&O-About

Thanks James. But what you need to know, is that you're only going to have quality of life, if you know God personally. He died to forgive your sins, and to have eternal life, which is the only one that matters, this one is too short. Thanks for everything you've shared with us. It's great to practice outside. God bless.

I’ve come a long way from 310 pounds.. I was mocked, spit on, and tormented daily. Until one day I decided I could not.. and would not love that way anymore. I lost my mother (my biggest fan, and only support) halfway through my weight loss journey.. but I can say with pride ive lost 180 pounds and I’ll bet she’s looking down smiling 🙏 Thanks for the knowledge, motivation, and inspiration James.

Yours is an amazing story. To see you in the hospital after your car accident was very moving and inspirational. 100% correct about being "locked in" to the gym,it limits your life so badly in ways you don't realise You don't travel ,you skip important events, you almost stop having a full life by being locked in to a gym, since I switched to callesthenics and band workouts I feel better I look better and I have a damn life, because it's just so easy to take my gym with me Anyone that thinks bands aren't legit are dead wrong

James, I absolutely love it! I was hospitalized with PE blood clots at 60yrs old, almost killed me. Couldn't train for 8 months while rehabbing, but been an athlete all my life & never lost hope. I'll be 64 this year & don't push heavy weight anymore but I've learned to be creative with lighter weights & power bands. Thanks to your videos & motivation, I'm in the best shape I've been in years! Bands have allowed me to go hard, resulting in more cut & better definition with your full body techniques. James, I'll train with bands until I die & just wanted to thank you for always being there.

I love that the interviewer sat back and let James talk without interruption. It's great to hear and learn about some of his story that I wasn't aware of. I used to watch his weight training videos a few years ago and looking for bands to use during 'lockdown' resulted in me finding James again. I now have a set of his Undersun bands which I'm using now the gyms are closed, yet again. After listening to how he traded the gym for bands, I may well do the same. I need to find a beach!

Thank you for taking the time to create your resistance band training program. I travel for a living and have suffered with a lot of injuries as well so it’s difficult finding a way to stay in shape or get back into shape. When your life is in a constant state of flux you need a versatile way to train, your channel has really turned things around for me. I just used your hiit / tabata workout yesterday and I’m still feeling it. Thank you and keep making a difference.

I first discovered bands in 1972; they were the precursors-springs. Then years of lifting, then I tried Bowflex beginning 20 years ago, still retain it for some exercises, as it’s essentially bands using different angles. Fortunately, i finished my long term home gym just a month or two before covid, which has been perfect. I believe that this is the first serious home gym revolution-a combination of covid with the remarkable evolution in home gym equipment over the last 2 decades or so. Ya, it’s better having the home workouts and being able to incorporate outdoor influences more, and greater freedom. Plus ya, sometimes I believe bands are easier on joints, plus what no one ever seems to mention: the feel, the pump from these things can’t be beat, can’t be matched actually. I have a Bowflex in addition to a couple of machines and calisthenics. Bands by themselves have always been dismissed, whenever I’ve seen any mention of them; but no one really knows who criticize them, which is typical with muscle heads who equate masculinity with weights. Bands, calisthenics, outdoor workouts is the life.

Hey brother, first thanks fo the videos. This is very inspirational. I’ve always been underweight and have spent my life in welding shops working long hours, while I tried becoming a gym rat and enjoyed it, having to take time out to get to the gym with a full time job, side business and a life has been very difficult. Recently found bands and your videos and I’m never going back to the gym. Did my first workout the other day and can’t believe how well the well the bands work by themselves. Plus as a skinny guy it’s WAY safer to work out by myself than trying to lift heavy shit without a spotter. Plus who has the time to spend 3-5 hours a week in the gym anymore? I know I don’t. Anyways thanks my man I’ll be upgrading to a set of undersun bands ASAP!

To be honest working out with bands makes workout being so fun I watched ur videos when I didn't even had bands but now after buying a set of bands I realised how ur words are motivated, helpful and true...my right hand injury forced to not touch heavyweights but I have got another way to get resistance training and because of u I have learnt a lot about this stuff...most people in India still just thought that this bands are gud for ladies or those who want to workout at home and many claimed it's just gud for pump like u about to be on stage for bb competition but nobody understands how effective this bands are as freeweights....many ppl don't buy this in India because few are very costly and most of them have low life durability snap or get break easily after using frequently for months...but the quality matters and if u get best quality one with using it precautious it will definitely give u result...I do have limited weights adjustable dumbbell but I just stopped using them hope I would add them combing with bands in order to get more variety in future

This guy is a blessing. I am a retired 69 year old navy guy who passes for someone years younger. I am sooo bless not to have limitations or restrictions on what I can or cannot do. I have workout for years. When this virus hit us, I had to give up the health club. Now what? For a while, I ate wrong, starting drinking more and gained weight. Not to mention, mentally I did not feel right. One day I was cruising KZfaq and ran across James and his bands. Where have I been? I never knew anything about bands. I watched several videos and did some research and homework. Eventually, I ordered the bands from Undersun along with James TA2 workout program. OMG!!!! I hardly recognize myself! The gains I am making I never saw lifting weights. I really look forward to working more every morning. I love the bands and they are better (for me) than weights. It is well worth it to get the bands and start your workout program.

When covid hit in 2020 I was working out at home sandbags, kettle bells, TRX Strap, Rucking...I lost the 35-40+ lbs I put on after a car crash where I fractured my elbow and wrist, I eventually had to have surgery to relieve the nerve. Fast forward to 2021 the first day of school for web development I was bit on both hands by a German Shepherd, it severed the nerve and tendon in my left middle finger. It took 7 months of physical therapy for me to regain 80-90% function in my hand. I'm now working as an EMT and working 12 hour shifts doesn't leave a lot of time to workout. I keep a set of bands in my backpack and if we're slow I get a few exercises in between calls. I really like that I can use them anywhere including inside an Ambulance. 🚑💪

I think it's a great thing that you realized outdoors is better AND made it work for you. We're basically trapped not only in "boxes" but also in cities and we should be turning more to nature. Exercising with bands is absolutely brilliant and I love it. We should all be aiming to achieve healthier bodies and play around with bodyweight, bands and weights to find a balance but mainly strive to be healthy and fit. Weights carry more risk to injuries imo but are also good every now and again. Great video and keep being your best!

So I said to hell with the gym and focus to train in my yard with bands, without injuries. It took some learning curve to master, cuz the technique varies a little bit, but! Being a present dad is much more rewarding for me than anything else right now. I wouldnt acomplish my objectives in the gym if my head and heart are at home. So, bring the gym at home guys.

Hi. Here in Malaysia, there is a gym in every condominium. (In our condo we have two quite good ones). I'm Hungarian, and in my last 30 years, I went to the gym day-by-day. In my twenties, I was a 145kg power-lifter, later - because of my family - I slowed down... Now I am 48 and in March I started using resistance bands after I found your channel. Because of COVID-19 all gyms are closed, but I don't care anymore. I think I will never go back to the gym. And... I am in better shape than I was in the last ten years ever. Big thanks.

I'm recovering from a L5S1 Laminectomy and have sciatica in my right leg as well. It seems like you were in a much worse place after your accident and it is encouraging to see your results from your dedication to keep yourself and your fitness a priority! I'm not able to afford your product, but I'll be happy to share your story with people that I meet that are also struggling, and share your channel.

I am 73 and my picking up heavy weight ended in 2007 following a massive stroke. That with all my old injuries started my journey for other training methods. The less I use weights the less joint issues I have. I have gone through the same issues as you over leaving weights behind. It's, weights that is, a ego thing. Weights may be cheap considering but that's not an issue with me. It's the results that determines everything. I get even better results with weights so anyone who says you can't get results with bands is just plane ignorant.

I found your channel and discovered more movements and understanding of the resistance bands workout. I started using the bands because of the gyms closing because of corona-virus, it took me awhile to get used to them but I'm liking the workouts. I use my Garmin fitness watch and it shows that I'm in both anaerobic and aerobic states, my heart rate is much higher than using free weights or machines.

I am curious -- any theories as to why someone might have less joint/ligament pain with the bands than with free weights or machines? I suspect that it has something to do with lack of momentum and particularly not having to force your body to change the direction of the weight's momentum, as well as the bands mimicking the natural strength curve of your muscles.
@ajmartinga

your joints get injured because the moment the muscle is weakest the joint takes the pressure - when lifting heavy weights say bench you are really only as strong as you can lift the bar off your chest (no bouncing bs) but that point when your hands are parallel with your chest the muscle is too weak so the joint gets damaged. hope that makes sense.

Very inspiring! Mine is a similar story. I was brain damaged in a carbon monoxide poisoning. My rehabilitation was I was incomplete, however. Unlike James, my workouts now consist of just weights; limited in scope due to mobility issues. I have built some more strength using a single resistance band!

Been using bands only lately. I took 2 of the heaviest bands, stepped inside of them and put them behind my neck for squats. Very challenging. Once I'm able to do a lot with two bands one day I'll try three.
