First actor ever that I am listening to who is talking about Nafs. Nafs is mentioned in both Quran and Hadith, and a servant is commanded to battle against this ill commanding self (Jiahd bin Nafs). Zahid, We love you bro we love you. We all are sinners but best are those who repent. Nafs literally wants to destroy us and following it is entering in to a valley of destruction, but Allah is the best for forgivers towards those who sincerely repent. Marifah is the journey on which one can meet and know their Nafs and make battle /jehad against it.

Once was I watching 10 minutes video of this person which changed my entire life. He quoted a hadith from ibne Maja which summary is " Agra aap k amal tanhaye may drust nahee hai tho allah aap k logo k samnay naik amal ko zaya ker day ga". After hearing this quote and adapting it my life I feel so much sukoon and It made me very clear in my life. I dont know how I can thank this person. Thanks you so much.

You are brave and noble and have everyone's best interest at heart. U r true Muslim, admit ur mistakes n learn from them, Allah bless u One story of mine: I have a birth mark on my face, nobody in my family or friends made me realize that it may affect my rishta times (because I was a position holder so that's the very big blessing of Allah to grant me mental n physical health) but one of the relative said k surgery krwalo ab 21 ki hogaee ho rishty me masly hongy etc , and guess what I had a firm belief k jisny bnaya Hy aesa wohi rishta BHI bhejyga aur ager mere proposals is birth mark ki wjha sy reject hoye then will think about surgery otherwise a big no... Days passed I became engineer n 2,3 proposals came n guess what I didn't reject by anyone , I got married alhamdulillah and no one say anything about my birth mark, even say u look beautiful . . . So sometimes people play such type of roles in ur life to make ur confidence down but be firm

But I also understand that there’s a growing trend for modifying our physicality . The most striking advice that I once heard was that if we invested as much effort in adorning our soul than we do in improving our structure that will surely decompose and disappear , then we would be far better people .

i feel it's not entirely the fault of a person who's looking at himself in a particular way. it's the people of this society, people who we call friends, relatives, cousins etc. the pressure of looking nice, the fear of getting mocked, the way people get bullied since a very small age, are some of the factors that make a person look at his flaws even when there isn't any. You might think of yourself as a good looking person but society tells you otherwise and that's why you're unconsciously forced to think how flawed you're.
