Thank you for pointing us to God’s heart and showing us how all of the Bible is connected in so many ways!

This is so pivotal to hear about studying the macro themes. Touched something deep to hear the Triune God was at The Beginning of Creation in Genesis 1:1-2 hovering over the chaos. And to know we were in God’s Thoughts there. The opening paragraph of Genesis is Presence in chaos and the closing paragraphs are Presence in chaos-and Joseph’s beautiful words: “God planned it for good.” Thank you Joel for beautiful commentary on Genesis. This gave me such hope to see the Providential Hand of a very Good God in my life. So grateful to find this study and all the people here with such insight and understanding and love for the Living Word.

While The Book of Enoch is not considered cannon, I think it is valuable to our understanding of creation and Genesis 6. There are many prophecies there that clearly point to Yeshua- maybe this is why it is NOT considered cannon among Jewish Scholarship? I read a version from the 1800’s with a commentary from a Jewish Rabbi. Very informative.

Does Abraham’s bosom still exist?? Just to name a few 😅 been trying to do my own research but not sure who all to trust other than you and a few others!
