Always fun to take a trip down memory lane with old pictures. Sometimes its nice to see where you came from and how far you've gone over the years. Life has a way of blazing right on by... It's a good thing I tool lots of pictures. And you are 100% right.. there's something to be said about having a physical photo to look at. One wrong data input and POOF those digital pictures are gone forever.

Great video. The BMW project sounds interesting. We looking at another LS swap maybe?? Great to see the old pics and reminisce about days gone by. My wife and I have spent a long time, and much more to come I'm sure, going thru all the albums and pictures we've accumulated. We're digitizing them all to keep them safe. And free up all the space the pictures take up right now. Lots of memories as we do it too. You should do a recap of how Hevy Acres came to be. Look forward to more. Be safe and stay well.

Sorry the 442 build was the days before KZfaq, would have loved to see that one. You should put the flathead under your bench in the BMW. 😆

Memories that mirror my own.... never thought at the time to get stuff where I could keep it and now regret it but age don't care..... maybe time just does heal all wounds. I know for sure if ya ain't reminded of stuff, the mind seems to blank out the unpleasant stuff. I happened to watch a video movie and dang man, those bad memories surfaced like a ace of spades in a game of hearts. Oh yeah... she is smoking hot to this very day! She ain't no ones but yours and surely you have sense to just be kind.... not harping but reminding you and kind of myself as to how something comes out of the mouth and then wish to god that you could just stuff your foot in place of it. Boy howdy am I ever so dang guilty of it myself.... so ain't born a preacher ni either

Do something that'll really make the comments section scream for the young man's BMW: a MoPar 360 and a 727.😁 You've had quite a life, both in family and in machines. It's good stuff.

Only thing I added was a mechanical 30 psi gauge for fuel pressure on my vp44 truck, made sure it stayed above 5ish to make sure the lift pump was working. I removed a plug on the fuel filter housing and put an elbow on it, ran a line right to the gauge in the cab, worked great
@MrHevyshevy4 ай бұрын
It has a airdog or something lift pump on it.
@PaulBorsJr4 ай бұрын
@@MrHevyshevy that’s even better. The fuel pressure was really the only thing I watched, other than that it ran and ran
@billcar7414 ай бұрын
Lift pump in the fuel tank or as close to the tank as you can. Get a fuel pressure gauge to monitor the lift pump pressure. I have mine inside the tank and the truck has over 450,000 miles with 344,000 on the lift pump.

Those 5 series BMW’s were a bit of a bigger car, so an LS would probably slide right in! Get a good automatic to match up with it and the young man will be all set up.
