What's your favorite pair of roller skates that you own?

I love the disclaimer you made in the beginning, I know ive had people comment my video about a waste of money it is to have so many skates. But I think everyone has vicios (im not sure what english word to describe it lol) and we shouldnt be guilted for spending our money on things that make us happy.

you should name them Mr. Green, Professor Plum, Ms. Scarlett, and Colonial Mustard (although I do love the names you have already)

These are all so beautiful! So incredibly jealous, here I am just wanting one pair of skates haha. Haven’t been on wheels in forever. I’m a huge fan of the retro style of moxies but those custom pinks are absolutely stunning! And the dyed green is honestly a perfect shade of green I love it. Thanks for sharing.

I turned 42 had a mid life and Covid crisis and beside that is a middle schooler and high school are I loved and was always happy skating. So I decided at 42 I wanted to learn how to street skate And I have the Moxie leopard jungles and I love them.

Skateaholic...right there with ya. Just ordered my 12th pair and am looking - HARD - at those Safety Dance Moon Boots...along with my dream skate of the Vanilla Straight Jackets...and the Riedell Dart Pixels and the new-ish Dash colors...but I also want a red Boardwalk, too. OH! And the Raspberry AND Periwinkle Candi Girls (I've already got the Royal Blue, youngest opted for the Sea Foam). Thankfully, my youngest daughter and I are the same size so we can easily switch skates back and forth. anyway, EACH of my pairs are set up for different styles of skating and different places I skate. To me, it's just easier than constantly changing wheels on 1 or 2 pairs as I currently skate indoors at 2 rinks (though hitting a 3rd and 4th soon - different floors than what I skate now), as well as smooth concrete, rough asphalt, janky sidewalks, and I do speed, dance, shuffle, working on rhythm, and soon to hit the skate park! The speed, dance and shuffle i do indoors and out, so....yeah...it gets tricky juggling all those wheels. LOL

I only own one pair, an impala set. I bought it before skating became super popular again, and before everything about them came out because it was what I could afford. The quality was fine for learning but It is time for an upgrade. I have a pair of lollys coming in the mail and I am so excited. :)

I loved this video of the stories behind all your skates. You can definitely tell they all hold a special place in your heart. 💞🛼 I'd love a plate comparison of the plates you have. I am trying to figure out which plate I want to get, when I do take the plunge for my Moxi Jack boots. I can't figure out what kingpin angle I should get. Even after researching what they mean, and watching videos about it.. 🤯 I'm probably only going to be doing trail skating, dance skating, jam skating, Street skating, basically everything but park skating & derby. (At least I think.) I'm tossed up between the Sure-Grip Avanti Magnesiums (10°), the Sure-Grip Avenger Magnesiums (33°), or take the full plunge and save up for the revolutionary Powerdyne Arius Plate. (No kingpin, therefore no degree. Revolutionary new design.)

Naming them after fruit or puns or skate puns would b awesome themes for yr skates....just a idea....but u inspire me so much..i wanna get myself some lollys for my bday in november

I think we have the same coffee table haha. My favorite pair of skates are the only ones I have--the Jackson Finesse skates with Moxi gummy wheels :)

So cute!!! My first pair started out as a mint green/blue color very similar to floss (they are BTFL’s Scarlett pro’s) and I dyed mine with Angelus dye also but I went with jade and they are also my ride or die boots. Also my park skating boots until I can get some jacks. I have 4 other pairs of skates too 😉😉💜💚💜💚💜

Question: What is your Lolly size VS Jack Boot Size VS Antik AR2 size? Story time!: I came to the US in January 2019 with my boyfriend to visit his friends in LA. I was determined to buy a pair of rollerderby skates, and had my eye on the Solaris skates, which I ended up buying with a Reactor Neo plate. Funny thing is I went to both Moxi stores at the time, first the one in Long Beach, and being a newbie roller derby skater and with no interest in outdoor trail nor ramp skating yet, I didn't check out the Lollies or any of the heeled boots in there... (regretted that a few months later!) In the summer that year I took my Solaris out for trail skating and absolutely LOVED it, so I decided to get a pair of Lollies. Ordered the Floss Lollies from PRS with a Reactor Neo plate. I ended up dying them gray earlier this year and now they are my beloved Sharks! Next skates I am getting are AR2's in my derby team colors for derby, then hopefully the Jacks or Jack 2.0's when they come out! Hence why I ask the sizing in your skates! Can't try them on in Iceland. :'

GOD I want the impala leopard so bad. Just starting out and I have a pair of impalas because they were a great starter price but was bummed they didn’t have the leopard in my size. A leopard skate is my dream🤩

I got my first and only skates at the same Moxi store in Long Beach in July 2017…problem was….once I got back to my country no one skated with quad skates. No one. And I lost motivation….but I’m back now. And I even found a group! Sampa rollers! They are so nice. But it’s mostly inline skaters…
