6 жыл бұрынUpdate: Its been a year now since the video went up and today Jan 1st 2019 it will be monetized. I have learned my LIFE lessons and have no hard feelings toward NOBODY involved I wish Cardi B and her Team all the best and I have moved on. With that being said and after a lot of thought I will recoup my fees and put it towards my business. Even though I didn't do this for financial gain a year ago Ive learn when life gives u lemons make lemonade. At over 7million views I see my voice was heard, this cautionary tale was taken into account, and my point was made. Thanks the those who support and for those who don't thank you anyway your opinions are still of value.
(original comment) This video in no way speaks on how Cardi B is to everyone this is just my story on what happened to me. I posted this video the Wednesday following dec 16 and was asked to take it dwn bc of some content in the video that was private so now it’s edited and back up, also all negative comments will be deleted I’m not here to argue with ppl or feed into negativity.

I am so impressed with this woman. FR. She was bullied, she was tore down, disrespected MULTIPLE times and still kept her composure while telling her story. When she started to cry it absolutely broke my heart. After seeing this I IMMEDIATELY unfollowed Cardi B. I am absolutely disgusted by her behaviour.

I started doing makeup in LA almost 20 years ago. As a resident and professional I’ve seen it all. This scenario sounds spot on. Makeup artists and hairstylists are always thrown in the trick bag because a lot of these celebrities show up late and act like divas. I’ve actually had a few steal makeup from my kit (yes, even with all that $$ in the bank). I was lucky to not have anything this extreme happen but they tend to be extremely self absorbed. You did not deserve that at all. Your tears are valid. I think the lesson is to NEVER put anyone on a pedestal. We are sovereign beings. Our value is our birthright and is not defined by any person, relationship, status or monetary gain. Period. I moved to LA at 19 and have partied with A listers and I can tell you that not being star struck kept me from being swayed or impressed (or pardon my French- it kept me from getting screwed literally). Some of these folks really do believe they are above you and that you should serve them in more ways than one. Don’t believe the hype.

I've had the exact same thing happen to me with a celebrity. But I was doing her hair not makeup. Keep your head up. I'm sure you're an amazing makeup artist. People can just be cruel. I had the same reaction to the situation that happened to me. Sorry this happened to you! But now you'll be stronger than ever when it comes to dealing with these clients. i know how it feels. im not a professional M.U.A but i get booked to do makeup for some girls in my school. Some of them are freaking bossy kept telling me what to do, questioned why i do that, stuck to their handheld mirrors that prevented me from doing makeup. Once time i was so frustrated then teld a girl that "here my cosmetics, do whatever u want, u can pay me just for renting them". Then she could do merely nothing and called for my help 🙄 thank god the next times she booked me she had better manner

Jay-Z & Alicia keys Samuel Jackson & boxers, surgeons business owners & even Trump & pastors know how you look is major today for respect j confidence & professional presentation of your self j what you do in life!!!! Very skilled hair, clothing & make up artist to assist them in their public look j presentation is very important! The high pay is to replace money the hair, clothing or make up artist could make while not servicing some other clients at that time & for their professionalism & availability for the client I travel I hotel I food, confidentiality too. That's how business works!! Business pros or entertainers are priority because of their schedules & high pay for the inconvenience & the artist skills it's not worship!!😒😒 Getting highly paid for your craft & skills is work & can help you retire quicker or be more financially stable in any field & that dosnt mean you did something wrong. Being a top surgeon or athlete or make up artist or political speaker & being paid extremely well isn't wrong or worship. She is an expert in the makeup field j should level up. She could of had a similar event with any nonentertainer clients too who like to trip j step on people!! That was a false accusation you made in this situation!! It helped solve nothing it's wrong advise on how to handle or deal with problematic clients this or with any client!!!!😒😒😳

So, she expected a nice person with a great attitude? Nah boo. And don't get me wrong. She had a concert in my island (Bahamas). The makeup artist here had the same problem you had. She insulted our makeup artist when her work wasn’t done and cursed her out. The artist packed her things and left due to the disrespect. When she had the concert, she wore shades and explained to the crowd the makeup artist is trash. When in reality the only thing that was trash was her attitude. Keep your head up dear, this is only gonna push your career further. ✨

I personally think you did an amazing job on Cardi B’s makeup in the picture you showed. It truly was flawless and beautiful. Just remember that everyone has their own problems in life and some people tend to take their anger out on people around them without even realizing it.
