I saw them live about 5 years ago and got to meet Alexis. She's seriously one of the sweetest women I've ever met. I miss them so much! I really hope they start making more music soon. 😭

IKR.. hung out with her and her family at GroundZero in Spartanburg. She is the sweetest and actually comes out and spends time with her fans, sells her own merch. I hope they come back out kicking ass again.

As a young black woman, growing up black family and friends thought I was weird for being alt. Growing up I haven’t been able to be myself because it’s “evil” when really it’s self expression. I was never able to dress how I wanted but however I have music like this now that I’m finding this it makes me want to buy all of my alt clothes and live me dream lol

Isn’t it funny that as a black metal head you got more love from the metal heads than your own people? I learned diversity by hanging out with different crowds and like another commentor said that their loss and that’s fine. There aren't necessarily a lot of Black people in metal bands, but they're there. Just off the top of my head - Howard Jones (Killswitch Engage). William Duvall (Alice In Chains). Derrick Green (Sepultura). Also, I'm just saying, but I'm half-white and half-black. What exactly am I supposed to listen to, according to these stupid rules?! Just listen to whatever you want, and if it's metal? Then rock on. 🤟

All my life I have been a metal fan. I'm 34 and still rock out and when I'm in the city and people look at me funny because I'm a brown woman, I look back, smile, and turn it up as loud as I can cause I am who I have always been. It used to bother me but now I love who I have become because I have always been true to myself.

Lexie is so awesome! I love the way she sings, it's like she has a switch inside of her that can make her go from melodic to thrash, and make them both sound beautiful

Saw these guys years back at a devildriver show in Seattle, 16-17 years or so. I got to meet the lead singer briefly and I have to say she was just all around sweet and awesome, she didn't let talent go to her head
