I have one of these bro, 2012 but it's fully built now. I remember when the srt8 first launched in like 05 and I always wanted one, 7 long freaking years later I finally bought it! Paid it off and eventually had it built to 950 wheel hp, best suv ever! Hope you still have yours and all is well!

Exactly what I'm doing to mine tomorrow can't wait but I'm thinking of putting a flowmaster super 40 where the resonator would be and would double as a x pipe 2 in 2 out

i have same model 2013 vapor srt8 hemi v8 6.4L mine full exhaust no str8 pipe 3" all the way to the rear twin outlets damn monster its LOCO loud!!! hahahaha

That muffler is wack AF they did a horrible job on mine. Constant rattle and couldn't even align it properly

I have a question. What transmission does this jeep have? is it the 5 speed Mercedes 5-G Tronic WA580? or the ZF 8speed? If it is the 5speed, how is it able to shift so quick?

It’s a 5 speed👍🏼 but the shift isn’t really that quick but it does pull quick

The mercedes 5 speed was no slouch in these. The ZF are great too but a little more costly to maintain as well.

It's funny, I have one of these, fully built, but to me the tranny always shifted faster then those 8 speed ones. I've been in newer models and even track hawks and they don't seem to shift as quick as the 5 speed, I'd kill for an 8 speed just for fuel saving while on highway lol

Nah I didn't put it, the 2103 was the last year they called it SRT8. 2014+ is just SRT

Sounds mean as fuck. But bro understand the difference between straight pipe and catback. Straight pipe means the full exhaust is modded so header included not just a muffler and res delete

@@slattxl5456 2012-13 have the 5 speed i believe an there known for failing specially if you reckless! 2014 an up got the 8 speed, but me personally i gotta 2017 SRT then got the 2018 trackhawk along with my 2013 lifted grand Cherokee

Exactly.... like bro we all know it sounds cooler, but dude you just had your mufflers taken off.... do a true straight pipe system no resonators or cats.... congratulations though bro, it really does sound better!!! I love your passion for your SRT8, not knocking you either...
