🇷🇺 People often ask how I get around Russia, well often I hitchhike from town to town. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes I discover a weird place I'd rather not be in...

12:43 Second part in Russian: "For the Motherland shed blood forever sacred in memory." Dedicated to the soldiers of the 28th Army, who died in battles during the great Patriotic war. On the territory where the monument is located today, the advance of German troops towards Astrakhan was stopped. Inside the obelisk on both sides of the through passage are niches in which information plates with the names of military formations that participated in the battle of Hulhut are placed. On the right side of the obelisk are several mass graves, in which the fallen soldiers of the 28th army are buried, the remains of which are found in our time by search teams. At graves tablets with names of the victims are established.

Then on to some fantastic Russian monument and mural which always take my breath away, love old Russian stuff. And through the generosity of a few Russians you get driven to safety. What absolutely amazing generosity for a total stranger . .. love it. And then a cheap clean room to rest in. The village of Khulhuta was founded in a semi-desert area, with a large number of dunes and a lack of water resources. Around the village there are 9 wells with drinking water. The water contains a large amount of sulfur and other trace elements. Often, with a long absence of operation and maintenance of the well, sulfur rises to the surface of the water, forming a "plug". Hence the name of the village "Khulhuta" Kalm. Khulkhta (joint case from Kalm. Khulkh - sulfur (in the ears)
