​@markthedog8066 when we almost lost the house and couldn't pay for groceries, I was 8 or 9 and I handed my dad my bank book where my birthday and Christmas money was saved up and told him to use it for food, rent, gas and the family expenses. My dad is a proud sicilian man but he broke down crying in my arms. One of the rare times I've seen him cry aside from when my mom almost died, my aunt (his sister) and my nona (his mother) died.
