One of the best acting scenes ever. It hits me hard everytime I watch this and Billy says "You're a real lifesaver, you know that?", because what Billy's really saying here without actually saying it, is "Thank you helping me find my sister and saving me from getting beaten to a bloody pulp by my abusive dad." Magnificent acting skills on Dacre Montgomerys side to deliver that massage just by body language (that scared flutter of lashes when he bites into the cookie ...). And now in season 3 we have Billy as a lifeguard literally saving Mrs Wheeler from himself. I'm in awe of that writing.

The genius of this sceene is that the season contains many subplots, and two unrelated and extremely different characters (a mother and a cool badboy) of these subplots meet in a totally unexpected but at the same time subconsciously desired way. And it works, there is so much tension between them. It's like Billy and Miss Wheeler already had a child, which is their subplot.

This is hands down one of the best scenes ever

A series that knows when to be serious and when to be funny.
