The colour disparities that you mention are probably due more to time of year and lighting conditions during the time of day that the series was filmed. The brown grass would be normal for late fall to winter which is indicated by the lack of leaves on the trees.

Hey Matthias! Another great vid mate! That tree at time stamp 25:15 is a Lagerstroemia indica, or Crepe Myrtle. A stunning and hardy deciduous tree, that typicaly grows to 3-5 meters tall and wide!

25:31 The "porch" was the movie theatre ticket box. It was added to the building for the show.

@19:33 The school mascot's logo or mural is still in place. It's usually covered with plywood that's painted to blend in with the bricks. You can see the plywood on the right side of the frame.

I brought my boys there and we got a pic right out front. No one was around when we visited so we explored the grounds all around the outside of the school.
