Quick Clarification, El did use her powers to change where the magnet was pointing so that she could lead them away from the gate cuz she knew it was dangerous. So actually Lucas was right her nose only bleeds when she uses her powers so she was using it to steer them away and Lucas found out. Lucas is really smart but I also think he's jealous of El.

They put El in a sensory deprivation tank to help screen out distractions, enabling her to focus her mind better. It's a real thing, but also a reference to a classic scifi B-movie called "Altered States."

Just so you guys know when you asked whose body is that that they're pretending as wills.. it's not a body it's a fake body. That's why it's full of cotton. I'm loving your guys's reaction to this series. All the little twists and turns will just get you scratching your head . But like they told you when you first started, you got to pay attention. Put all the little pieces together. We are all excited for the final season coming out this year

You really think that we will get the final season this year? Due to the writers and actors strike, I think filming got pushed back so I’m thinking we won’t get a season until 2025 😭

@@ericanicolee909 there is filming going on right now. But yes the strike did push the release date to probably the end of the year or the beginning of 2025 . But we will get the final season regardless

The walls cracking was the gate opening. She was so scared of the demigorgan that she did that with her mind. She is extremely powerful, but she is still a little girl and she was terrified

Huh. I thought it was the monster cracking the wall because El touching them gave access to our world. I think that's why she called herself the monster, thinking she opened the gate. She may have made contact, but it's the monster that physically came through.

BJ, Joyce's car is a Pinto. Notorious because the gas tank was center back and often caught fire in accidents. I had a '73 Levi's Gremlin, which are infamous in their cheap materials and assembly. Mine even had the Levis logo special paintjob, but the seat material was not real denim- it was cheap polyester-ish. My afro pick tore the seat the first day. Ah, yout'. Peace, all 💕

Yeah, the Pinto had a fire issue but it was greatly exaggerated. People like Ralph Nader and Mother Jones magazine were claiming 500 - 900 deaths, but it was really 27 (between 1970 and 1976). In 1977 they fixed the issue with the new models and at some point finally recalled the older models and fixed them as well. There was also the myth of the Pinto Memo, which Mother Jones claimed was a memo by Ford comparing the cost of fixing the Pinto to the much cheaper cost of settling lawsuits. In actuality, that memo was written by the NTSB, not Ford, and it had nothing to do with Pintos. So yeah, there was an issue, Ford apparently knew about it, and Ford was less concerned with safety and more about production and costs (remember there was an oil embargo and Ford was trying to compete with cheap imports, and safety back then was less of a concern in general-- safety regulations were just beginning to be put in place). But there was also a concerted effort to exaggerate and smear Ford's reputation and sue them out of business. My main problem with Pintos was reliability. Seemed like most Pintos I saw were broke down on the side of the road rather than on the road. Some people swore by them, though, so I guess they could be hit or miss. I did have a Mercury Bobcat (a Mercury badged Pinto) back in the '80s, and it was great. I beat the shit out of that thing and it kept right on going.

I never watched this show but it seems like the writers took ideas from The X-Files, the movie "Super 8" and a Corey Haim movie "The Watchers" (for the telepathic link between a monster and someone else)

Interesting fact: The MKUltra experiments were REAL. The government really conducted them, and the writers of this series (the Duffer brothers) based that part of this show on those experiments.
