Great tutorial. I love shaperbox and use it a lot, but I think the idea of creating effect layers across different units of time can make for nice evolving tracks.

I just wanted to add a comment about how wonderful the Autonomic podcast is. It’s not just electronic music, but actually more of a love letter to music in general, and the mix is sooo smooth. The fact that there’s a limited amount of layers makes more special and something to be cherished.

Yep, just updated my ShaperBox. The advice to first start with the presets to have a starting point is good. Too easy to get completely lost with all the tools and options especially finding the right noise floor can take a whole day.

Great video and insight as always. I loved Autonomic podcasts and the new style of dnb that emerged from it back in the day. BTW. dBridge and Kid Drama had similar project called Heart Drive, highly recommend to anyone who don't know about it.

It is, it should say right when you play it. In KZfaq, you can select "This is a paid promotion" and it shows it as a caption right when the video plays!

Love shaperbox! Nice to see how v3 is different from v2 thanks man! Off topic question but how do you find your beyers with glasses for prolonged periods? Do they hurt your ears? I've moved into a flat so from 7pm I'm solely on headphones and my hd25's kill my ears by 10pm...be good to get an idea of how comfy you find yours bro....thanks again for the videos dude you're a legend!

I use some 990s and they're pretty comfy over glasses, way more than my m40x's. I've also moved into a flat and have been using them a lot more and a lot longer and they've been serving me so well. I know a producer who exclusively uses them, literally one turns his monitors on for videos. Highly recommended

I just got the upgrade email for v2. Its 29 bucks for the upgrade but if you JUST bought 2 and 3 came out??? I would contact their support and ask.

I bought it directly from cableguys like 3 weeks ago and I was able to update for free to 3 this morning. Not sure how plugin boutique works but if you have license maybe just write cableguys an email if plugin boutique don't offer it for free.

I contacted Cableguys and they sent my an upgrade! I would say for free, but Im paying $99 and 3 is only $89... But Im very appreciative of Cableguys... It happened in less than 2 mins!

Yeah but I wanted to show how you can do it all internally with the addition of audio-triggering to create cool patterns. The filters also sound very fat in Shaperbox
