Strasbourg is one of the best Christmas destinations in Europe !
Strasbourg: the capital of Christmas , Traditionally, the French city of Strasbourg is called the capital of Christmas celebrations. One of the main centers of the united Europe, this city became famous for its fairs and bazaars, bright illumination and colorful Christmas performances. Initially, the fairs were timed with the feast of St. Nicholas (patron saint of the city), but in the 16th century the city council decided to hold fairs on Christmas days.
At the same time, a tradition of putting Christmas trees in houses and in squares began in this region. Starting in the town of Celeste in 1521, the tradition quickly gained a following and spread throughout Alsace.

Mark, this is absolutely magical. I would think that this was quite challenging but you did a marvelous job. The music and the camera perspective, way above everyone’s head, puts this on another level. It gives us an ethereal type feeling as we glide and float gracefully above the crowds of people and it adds to the magic of Christmas. You truly captured it all. I got quite emotional. I have always thought that your cinematography skills are exemplary. This is, certainly, no exception. I not only felt very much a part of it all but also enjoyed what appeared to be an Angel’s point of view. As I have stated before it all looks and feels like scenes from a classic movie. Thank you, Mark.

Thanks , yes al my Christmas videos i use the zhiyun telescopic monopod , its better for my back and arms , i removed the original tripod stand and replace it with a round quick release from zhiyun with original original tripod stand from dj rs2 gimbal ( i remove the tripod stand with quick release when i go walk to reduce the weight ) i never use a quick release with tripod stand on a gimbal they all crap making noise on my audio they we have al play after a 2 weeks use , they get lose ! It's also better for people walking in front of you, because now you're not pointing the camera at their faces, but holding it higher. You can also reduce the total weight of the equipment when you shoot without a monopod to save your back and arms. I recently replaced DJI RS2 with DJI RS3 and my equipment has become lighter by 200 grams and also changed Sony Zeiss 16-35 lens to Sony PZ 16-35 and the weight decreased by another 165grams. By the way, the new lens is much better than the old one, it has good sharpness, and it also preserves contrast and colors.

@@SergKhvostov i stick with the Dj rs2 😉 i can handle it 👍i don't use the 16-35 F4 anymore only 15mm and my zoom 24-105 F4 ( i wish there was a 15mm gm lens with a screw on ND filter ) i know there is a 14mm gm but no screw on filter only clip-in filter i don't trust with my close door shutter protection
