I wound a set of Strat pickups for an inexpensive Squier. This is the first test run on them. I changed the pots, switch and output jack as well. Bridge pickup has its one tone control using and Emerson .047uf. The neck and middle pickup have an Emerson .022uf cap. The volume is a push/pull with a bypass cap or “treble bleed” mod. Down has the mod and up is a stock 250K audio taper pot. With the volume all the way up there’s no difference, roll it down and the difference is obvious.
The video was shot on my phone using a Shure MV 88. It’s also the first attempt at editing a video on my phone using Adobe Rush.
