David this was a fantastic interview, love how you went into the ethical portion of the video and how you kept it real when your guess asked " have you ever worked on a golf course" as if that's an everyday question 😂 I love that today's guest also did t talk about increasing his fleet to 100 rental cars, he simply said " I've got enough". Too often entrepreneurs start another rat race and bite off more than they can chew when they constantly scale

I don’t know why ppl rent instead of buy, but from a talk with a person that put me on.. best answer is that every persons reason is different but it’s validated in their mind. Long story short don’t question the revenue lol

Hey! Just wanted to say, major kudos on rocking your car rental biz against all odds - seriously impressive! Your ability to bounce back and adapt is shining bright. BTW, got me thinking - what advice would you give newbies kickstarting their car rental journey? Especially about sussing out sketchy stuff with clients. Your nuggets of wisdom would be pure gold for those stepping into this exciting business!

That's true! "ability to bounce back and adapt" Resilience is the process and outcome of successfully adapting to difficult or challenging life experiences, especially through mental, emotional, and behavioral flexibility and adjustment to external and internal demands. Great video looking forward for more!

David, your interview was fantastic. I liked how you addressed ethics and your humorous response to the golf course question. It's refreshing that the guest focused on having "enough" rather than constant scaling, a trap many entrepreneurs fall into.

How come no one has a muscle car rental business. Cars and trucks from the 60s and 70s. Think of the iconic cars. Mustang Bullet Steve McQueen, gone in 60srconds mustang, fast and furious Charger, dikes of hazard Charger, Smokey and the bandit on and on. Then just smooth big sound, big engine muscle cars. Way lower overhead and can update with new electronic reliable engines and be just as fast if not faster than luxury cars. Restore them for way less and rent them out. Seems way more logical. Can even let people pick the different wheels for the cars.

He hit some strong points and dropped some great gems like the insurance but a lot of things comes with insurance and private renting. You will NOT make money in your sleep, your cars are your babies and you must baby sit. This guy was a loan shark, that means a lot. But more power to him, good or bad it’s good for the culture

Basically he’s a middle man between the car owner and the car renter, takes his cut insurance pay for the damages or whoever the car is registered ®️ under (what happens in a case of casualty? Who take the hit hope y’all owning these cars because he is keeping his debt to income low using your vehicle to make money so of course he can’t drive it 😂 my man. These kids would fall for anything if they hear big money talk. Smh
