Stray Kids‘ Bang Chan is being praised for his behavior amid the disrespectful comments by the paparazzi at a global event.
On May 6 (local time), Stray Kids attended the 2024 MET Gala.
Sadly, even though the members look handsome, netizens expressed their anger after journalists were caught making comments that offended the Stray Kids members. who said the members were like robots who had no emotions and expressions.
a post on the Korean forum highlighted Bang Chan's actions during this incident.

"He learned his lesson from the past" is very wrong thing to say. He was never at fault and he never mentioned any names. He is not supposed to be responsible for people putting words in his mouths and assuming things. He was forced to apologize for something he wasn't at fault. The same thing was told by so many people yet, somehow, only Chan ended being the scape goat when the remark was actually on point

Moreover i feel like he was sensing the right time for skz to get enough photos but not getting TOO involved with the childish act from the paparazzi. Not only they could’ve been mocked by other media as a result of those comments, he also managed to get the kids out before they became nervous and insecure during the event. Chan is the greatest. I could see it in his eyes and also Felix too they knew what was being said. I’m sure that the rest of them had some kind of idea as to what was being said as well. Good on Chris for knowing when to leave. He was like ok kids were out of here, quite an achievement when you consider that they had a commitment to their host Tommy Hilfiger, that they had to consider. He had after all designed their outfits and the big reveal had to be completed before they could possibly think of leaving but they managed it despite the provocation. The behaved with style and good manners completing the task that had been set for them before exiting with the style and grace that we have come to expect from them. Well done guys and Chris you deserve a pat on the back for handling a situation that could have easily deteriorated even further, 10/10 mate 👏

The photographers that said those things clearly don't actually know who Stray Kids are because if they did then they wouldn't say that. STAYs can bring them down if they disrespect Stray Kids. The photographers definitely need to write long apology letters towards Stray Kids for their unprofessional behavior. Though, an apology might not be enough for hurting their feelings because anyone would be hurt by it. Other than the rude photographers I hope SKZ really did that a good time.

Just a note: They all know English and can speak it clearly. They ALL knew what was being said if they heard it. Disgusted by the paparazzi. Those individuals, if it's known who they were, should be barred from the event from now on. No one needs to be rude. They'd be 'robots' as you called them, if they were jumping around doing what you wanted them to do. Not trying to please 100+ people with cameras by giving them gentlemanly poses which suits their group.

It was the greatest lack of respect for artists I've seen, cruel and unprecedented racism, seeing the trapped boys without being able to do anything, and listening to the imbeciles of the photographs sending them jumping and laughing, and offending, as if they were clowns in a Circus, it was shameful, a lot of humiliation in front of thousands of other artists, these photographs have to be punished for such a lack of professionalism and racist disrespect in the middle of 2024. I, as an American would like to apologize for the rude and disrespectful words used towards all of Stray Kids on the Met Gala red carpet during the 2024 event. It embarrasses me knowing that guests in our Country were treated this way. Stray Kids gave respect and courteousness towards the Media, it's shameful that adults behaved this way towards these young men and others near them. I truly hope the companies that these people represent take public action towards them! The Media certainly knows who they were.

I'm an American and am so embarrassed and disgusted by the way Stray Kids where treated the paparazzi here. They are completely out of control and are trash because they know they can get away with it. However, I'm glad Bang Chan dealt with it the way he did.
