I enjoyed it, personally. I like EDM and when it's used in Korean music. We all have personal preferences but SKZ uses it quite a lot in their stuff. :) It's all good if you don't like it. We're all Stay here! 💙

This is my opinion from what I've been learning so far. This year SKZ fully take EDM style for their 3 albums, bcs they're aiming to get best dance performance. And the point is here, When your song is almost full of edm the dance will get higher level, *than* when you make a full vocal song. Just look at the examples, i AM era, I'm not a dancer but I can see the difference level between last year's dance style than this year's.

trap is technically edm so the hiphop community heavily influences the edm community and vice versa. its all about bass and synchronization. i think chan is trying to like keep his love for edm and the "hiphop"-esque nature of where kpop is headed and mixing them together

I love Double Knot. And I LOVE Stray Kids' sound. They are just known for their harder style. That to me, IS Stray Kids. You know? I quite enjoy when they release intensive and heavy beats. 😊 Although it's not as super heavy like Side Effects was, (which I replay literally all the time.) I still thoroughly enjoy it. The only reason why I like heavy, dark, gritty beats is because I used to be a Metalhead. Heavy metal music was my shiiiiiit back in the day before discovering K-Pop. It's alright if you don't necessarily like it. But this is just Stray Kids' style I think. EDM, fast paced tunes and dark concepts. That's what drew me to them. I love your reactions and I'm actually glad for your honest opinions. :) I've been a fan for over a year now and I'm always looking forward to your videos. (I am so sorry for this long ass paragraph. Lol)

3RACHA have a song called Double Knot so before this came out a lot of people thought it would be an OT9 remake. It's not but the song still has a lot of referrences to past Stray Kids songs, especially in the choreo. EDM is kinda a hit or miss for me but I always love Stray Kids because i'm just a sucker for music that's very loud and in your face. Another example for those kind of songs would be 24K, at least the stuff they did when Cory produced their music

This video feels like the continuation of Side Effects.. they used the "Heyyyy" at the end, the keys, the moon's, the compass...they are telling you a story. I'm not into EDM but Stray Kids kill it and own it with their hard concept. PLUS..everything Stray Kids it's created by the members. They have a huge hand in everything they do so it stays true to them. These guys are still super young (I think youngest member is in his mid/late teens) so they are going to stay with what's "In" in their generation with a Stray Kids touch. I LOVED this comeback. It's not my fave video but it's one of my fave songs of theirs. The choreo for this is so good! So check out a live stage! ^___^

Honestly, Double Knot took me a few listens, but it's gotten stuck in my head now and I think I've begun to enjoy it a lot more. The choreography was fantastic though, they went so hard and I'm still blown away. I hope you guys get to watch their dance practice for it sometime, even if you don't put a reaction up!

I agree, I'm not really an EDM type of guy either. Kpop and EDM can sometimes work really well. For example songs like Don't Wanna Cry by SVT is a well made EDM song. I think the reason why EDM doesn't really work with Stray Kids is because stray kids are keeping that roughness in their EDM songs. I enjoyed their side tracks a lot more than their recent title tracks unfortunately.

3racha double knot. check it out, this is a mixtape, check out the lyric of both songs you will appreciate it more. But don’t worry if it doesn’t grow on you, you know how they are, every genre under the sun. this is just a thing leading up to cle: Levanter. check out Astronaut when it comes out nov 9, please? Personally I love the evolution of Skz from Hellevator till now. it’s a real journey. and double knot really gives me D9 vibes more than anything they have done in a while.
