I’m not even exaggerating when I say Bang Chan is the ideal man and honestly…human. His parents have raised him right. He’s not perfect, but his flaws make him all that more admirable. One thing that makes Stray Kids so different in the industry is that each member was chosen by Chan. There is a clip with him explaining how he chose each member. This was never done before in K-pop but JYP trusted Chan. In an interview, JYP mentioned how it was a time when he felt really bad for Chan because he was the only trainee left in the company after GOT7 and Day6 debuted. At that time to motivate him, JYP made a promise, if Chan could make a group, he would debut. The whole survival show SKZ had was basically the last evaluation any K-pop company does to decide the final lineup of the next group they will debut. But their case was a little different because JYP didn't know any of the trainees Chan brought in his group, and they needed to show how united they are as a team. He evaluated them solely on their skills and teamwork, also considering how the industry is. JYP was also called crazy by other people for trusting so much a trainee when the company had a big investment in a new building. But this craziness in the end was the ultimate trust that created the amazing group that Stray Kids are. Chan is an amazing leader that could form such an amazing group. Wanted to share this story because it helps to understand why they are so close. Plus, no matter how much they tease each other they also respect, love each other. SKZ family is a true family. Some details about them are harder to learn only from edits, because they may be either overlooked or the person that makes the edit thinks everyone knows it

I love I.N so much too, he’s so selfless and kind and often really shy, but when he’s comfortable he has the best sense of humor and is so bright. His smile and talent are the best things ever and I admire his positive mindset!

Chan really is such a great role model. One of the members said it's not because he's perfect but because he strives to be- he constantly pays attention to how his actions affect others and develops and grows with it. His relationship with I.N is so wholesome, I love that Chan saw the potential in him to grow into something amazing with the right support and look at our Innie now- he shines so well on stage and he's beginning to write more and become more noticed as an individual too.

Chan actually chose all the members for SKZ. JYPE gave him the freedom to put together his own group from the trainees & then they needed to prove themselves in the Stray Kids Reality Show, before they got to go to Debute.

I don't know much about straykids and their members other than Felix but damn after watching more and more videos of Ben skz era, now I'm falling for every skz members

when i.n joined jyp he was in the younger trainee group, whereas chan and jisung were both already in the older group chan heard i.n sing and requested for him to be moved into the older group so they could train together and i.n could eventually join the stray kids line up so yeah if it wasn't for chan, i.n wouldn't be in skz (same goes for all the members bc chan picked them, but innie in particular bc he wouldn't have even been in the running to debut bc he was in the younger group initially)

Funnily enough, I.N trained longer than Seungmin, Felix and Lee Know. It makes total sense that Chan treats I.N like a baby so much, since by the time I.N joined, Chan had trained for 5 years and was meeting a little 14-15 year old, who probably reminded him a lot of himself when he first joined JYP. Chan probably saw him and went ‘hmm yes I want to adopt this one’. Whilst it’s true that Han is Chan’s first ‘kid’, since Han joined before every other member except Chan, I.N is probably the first one he genuinely went, ‘JYP, he’s not your trainee now, he’s my son.’
