Yes, Chan was only 13 years old when he left home and moved all by himself to Korea to join JYP training. The vibe of social path is kind of pop rock because that genre is very popular in Japan. This song literally sounds exactly like an anime opening theme to me.

Bang chan wrote social path from his own experiences and perspective, so i can imagine the trainee system defenitly is reflected in the lyrics

FNF was like a tribute to the Australian forest fires..it was mostly written by Felix & Bangchan awhile back...the best thing about the song is like u can easily interpret it into sth else..

Social Path: Ok. Chan has talked about how he wrote the lyrics about his years as a trainee. Since he was a trainee for 7 years, he has seen a lot of mental suffering watching all his friends either debut without him, or get dropped from the programs. liSA is a Japanese singer who does a LOT of anime openings & stuff. She has been putting out awesome music for around 11 years. Chan has always looked up to her & the Kids were very excited to collaborate with her. Let's see. Things I noticed in the MV. -The bag people seem to be representative of both faceless people who are both worshiping & hating at the same time, or inner doubts & thoughts that come when they are alone. -I.N is the first to stand against the tide of people & grasp the light. -Everyone stays isolated till Chan gets taken by the hands. They all had separate things happening. Being isolated, being stared at, being forced to constantly run, being chained in one place, etc. Then Chan is taken & they are suddenly moving. -liSA seems to be a unified voice leading them in a direction. She has the lines " the ashes to prove my passion burning endlessly" (Or close to it....I am horrible at remembering exact lyrics) -When they are unified & moving against the crowds, the ones who are most able to withstand pressure without flinching are in the lead. (Lee Know, and Changbin are the most obvious at the front making a path for the others) -When they reach the wall Chan had been trapped against, they tear it open. There is only 7 of them when this happens....They are going through to reach Chan. (Chan has said in multiple instances that the other members have saved him. If it wasn't for them, he doesn't even think he would be on this planet) -When they are 8 is the only time you see them smile. -There are shadowy hands that are trying to touch Changbin in the beginning, and just as he wakes up you see clawed hands reflected in his eyes/the moon. -Felix's wing actually kinda seems slightly separate from him. Almost as if he has a guardian angel protecting him. It lifts & reveals him a little before starting to cover him again. -In the final dance scene, the only ones with no red in their outfit are Chan, Changbin, and Felix. I listened to someone explain that the colours kinda mean something. liSA has a strong red & black theme. She seems to represent courage & determination. The others have red in their outfits because they gained those from outside sources. (Like the other members, or helpful people) The three who have no red are ones who already had those and didn't get them from an outside source. Changbin & Felix are the least effected during the MV. Felix already had an inner fire, and Changbin refused the shadowy hands. Chan was taken, but he didn't stop trying to escape. There are many flashes of Chan staring ahead, or jerking awake & not just allowing himself to be swallowed. You see him float above the people who took him, until the others break through to him. FNF: During the devastating wildfires that tore through Australia, Chan & Felix had been isolated in Korea & unable to do much more than call their family & friends. So in order to deal with the pain, Chan started this song. Then he gave it to Felix to help add his own feelings. They wanted a sad, but hopeful song. It has feelings of loss, but the slight hope of reaching where whatever or whomever they lost eventually. So they wrote it to be ambiguous. You can relate it to a person. You can relate it to things. I like how they kept is softly hopeful, and tinged with quiet sorrow at the same time. DLC: Changbin wanted the song to represent the feelings of being stuck in a rut & feeling stagnant, yet wanting to just abandon everything for a night/day. That is why the whole video is in a washed out colour. But he also wanted to add the freedom of getting out & doing what you want, to go dance the night away without running from your responsibilities. Both Seungmin & I.N represent people feeling stuck & tired in what they are doing. They both see dance as a way to express freedom, but have no clue how to do that....Till their friends take the initiative to drag them into fun. They could go out & dance & have fun, then return to their previous things recharged. It doesn't have to be public, or flashy. They did all their dancing in enclosed areas, or the rooftop, where no one sees. Things that recharge you don't have to be big. They can be small, and close.

FNF video is crazy to me. They filmed this in my city Melbourne (Australia) while they were here for 3 days in February, two of those days they had concerts. It was 39 degrees Celsius (104F). Stays were everywhere, idk how they filmed without anyone seeing them. Idk how they filmed in this heat especially in so much clothing AND without looking sweaty. Two people in line to buy light sticks collapsed due to the heat. Since this video came out many Stays have posed in the same spots the boys were standing ❤

the dlc mv is heavily inspired by movie billy elliot as it shows the members who box and work in ordinary jobs falling in love with dance and finding freedom in it all the dance scenes in the mv were completely improvised on the spot too!! it was filmed in paris which i think is very fitting

The way i interpreted DLC is that since they’re idols, they can’t always do what they want, their actions are always restricted in a way and they feel this pressure. “Nobody, please don’t care about me it’s okay” it’s like everyone’s always paying attention to them, but they also want to have fun like normal people, without the public always watching, so they have to do it secretly “let’s go crazy until the sunrise” I couldn’t explain it very well but i hope it’s understandable 😫

They mentioned in the album behind that the "I'm catching up" chorus of FNF refers to the fact that we will all be gone some day (connecting it to the fires of Australia with the loss of wildlife and nature). I think that is so interesting, because it sounds so happy and carefree, so the contrast they created is just amazing, and listening to the song with that in mind is a whole different experience.

FNF was filmed in Australia. Felix and Channie wrote FNF as a tribute to the forest fires that happened a few years back. DLC was filmed in Paris. :)

there are more songs in the album that doesn't have an mv maybe you can check them on your own. But I must say most of them title material.

fnf is my favourite song of the album and probably in my top 5 skz songs overall its about the fauna and flora that was lost in the australian bush fires and was written by chan and felix back in 2019, it was also filmed in australia when they were the on tour

If I didn't know any better, I would've thought this song was an opening for some anime lol. It has that vibe to it for me, especially with the one and only LiSA singing in this as well. That woman has produced several iconic anime songs (i.e. Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer, Fate/Zero) 😊
