The Black Mamba VIP tier includes a 1 hour 1-to-1 session with me every month where we can catch up, chat and share music! You can play me songs via a shared Spotify session and introduce me to new songs and artists Kpop and non Kpop! This way you’ll have the chance to listen to albums with me and that includes albums I haven’t heard (and don’t plan to react to) or albums we both know and love already and we can just vibe out together! 

 Honestly, the Black Mamba sessions I’ve been having so far become the highlight of my month and I’ve gotten to know some of you on a much more personal level as well as discovering new songs! I literally have a playlist full of songs I wouldn’t have heard otherwise! I’ve spent hours chatting about our favourite music, playing music related games, cracking jokes and also having heart to hearts 

There’s currently only 5 spots available and I’m not sure how long they will be free! Unfortunately all the King Cobra places are still taken up but do keep checking if that’s what you want as a space might open up suddenly!

FELIX SHOWED OUT IN "Deep End"!!! He showed his signature low voice, accessed his chest voice, mixed voice, head voice, added some flavor of "cries" at end of notes. I hope Felix starts seeing all the reactions to his vocal techniques and that he can continue to build his confidence! He was a bit guarded and shy with his singing voice in the past but I think he just conquered it! One last random thing, months ago, I dreamt that Felix was singing using OVERTONES and UNDERTONES. I think with this new song, that dream of mine is one step closer to becoming a reality!!!

I really went into my first listen pretty confident with what I thought the songs were gonna sound like BUT. bang chan as the starter alone made me realize this doesnt work with stray kids. the song that surprised me the most was probably run, it made me feel so weird but in a good way and I was so stunned when I read the lyrics??? they're so sad?? when I was so giggly listening to it??? but I always find myself relating to the things he writes about and I feel so seen. i love him. when it comes to felix, we've actually got to listen to his higher singing voice more than ppl think. probably because they just don't realize its him, so I'm really glad he got this opportunity to shine with his vocals on his own. I'm so so proud of him. lino too!!!! listening to limbo made me remember the times of the survival show and his hardships during that time. hearing how much he's improved over time brought tears to my eyes. he's grown to be such an amazing vocalist!! my favorite songs are love untold and doodle for now, but I never know with them😭

I was floored by Felix's song. I've had it on a loop several times today. Felix literally had like 5 different ranges stacked together. The simple piano track was absolutely stunning. Before the release he mentioned on bubble (I'm assuming Stays asked him for a hint of what it'd sound like) that we can imagine his cover of City of Stars and Joji's Glimpse of Us. I totally get what he meant now. Also in an interview he said he wrote the song in 3 days. Felix needs to stop gatekeeping his dang talent man! This song is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and the fact that Felix is literally a one man quintet is just incredible! I'm so in love with this song 😭. Felix was already top tier talent in my book and I didn't think it was even possible for him to get any better but I stand corrected. I bow to you Sir Yongbok of Felly for proving me wrong 🧎🏻‍♀️🙏.

RUN by Han's instrumentals kinda reminds me of a Stromae song hahahaha (kind of a minimalist cousin of Ave Cesaria??) hence it's also my favorite from the album

My favorite solo songs are Run by Han, Stars and Raindrops by Seungmin, Connected by Bang Chan and of course Deep End by Felix. ❤ Edit: they just keep getting better. It’s wonderful to see. 😭

skz has 8 unique voices, so the charm of being a stay or just a listener is being able to distinguish those different voices. plus with the freedom of skz, the members get to discover or devlop their own voices. our asmr king, Felix translating that even to his song and doing so in a way that bares his raw voice while also making full use of his range is everything! that was perfect for him, too, given the times he would sing on vlive to practice, like that vlive when he sang Break My Heart ans Chan called him to praise his voice.
